2 WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS First, select the photograph thumbnail in the Layers Panel A white bracket surrounds the photograph thumbnail

3 WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS Select Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Posterize

4 WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS Select OK Note that the adjustment layer has been added above the photograph layer in the Layers Panel

14 PHOTO RETOUCHING WITH THE SPOT HEALING BRUSH Move the cursor to the area you want to retouch. Make sure the brush is slightly larger than the area to be retouched. Click.

15 PHOTO RETOUCHING WITH THE SPOT HEALING BRUSH The Spot Healing Brush Tool fills in the center of the selected area with pixels copied from the perimeter of the brush.

Students will share their work in the form of a gallery walk and formal oral presentation. All aspects of the project will be assessed with a rubric and criteria checklist that will be reviewed with students at the inception of the project.
