Compare Cezanne's still life on FIG with Willem Kalf s on FIG Note differences in composition, the treatment of color, painting technique and distortion of form. Compare Seurat's Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (FIG ) with Renoir's Le Moulin de la Galette (FIG. 31-8) and Piero della Francesca s Flagellation of Christ (FIG ). What characteristics does Seurat s paintings share with each?
