6 GETTING READY TO SEW Conncting th Por Supply Janom Sing Machin Turn off th por sitch. Insrt th foot control plug into th machin sockt. Insrt th machin plug into th machin sockt. Insrt th por supply plug into th all outlt. Oprating Instructions: Th symbol "O" of a sitch indicats th "off" position of a sitch. For appliancs ith a polarizd plug (on blad idr than th othr). To rduc th risk of lctric shock, this plug is intndd to fit in a polarizd outlt only on ay. If it dos not fit fully in th outlt, rvrs th plug. Thrad guid 2 Pass th thrad through th hol in th bobbin from th insid to th outsid. Put th bobbin on th bobbin indr spindl. Bobbin indr spindl 3 Push th bobbin indr spindl to th right. Th indicator ill sho. 4 Hold th fr nd of th thrad in your hand and dprss th foot control. Stop th machin aftr th bobbin has spun svral tims, and cut th thrad clos to th hol in th bobbin. 5 Dprss th foot control again. Whn th bobbin is fully ound, it ill stop automatically. Rlas th foot control and rturn th bobbin indr spindl to its original position by moving it to th lft, and cut th thrad ith a pair of scissors. Rmov th bobbin from th bobbin indr spindl. Turn th por sitch on. 2 Hold th ndl thrad ith your fingr and prss th Up/Don ndl button tic to pick up th bobbin thrad. Lor th ndl into th fabric hr you ish to start. Pull th ndl and bobbin thrads to th back. Lor th prssr foot. Dprss th foot control to start sing. Gntly guid th fabric along th sam guid lin. Changing sing dirction: Stop th machin a f stitchs bfor th nd of a sam. Prss th up/don ndl button a f tims until th ndl falls on th nd of th sam. Up/Don ndl button Rais th prssr foot. Pivot th fabric around th ndl to chang th sing dirction as dsird. Lor th prssr foot and start sing in a n dirction. Scuring a sam For fastning th bginning of a sam, prss th rvrs button and s svral rvrs stitchs. Rlas th rvrs button to s forard. Rvrs button For fastning th nds of a sam, prss th rvrs button at th nd of th sam. S a f stitchs in rvrs to fastn th sam. Rais th prssr foot and pull th fabric to th back to rmov it. To cut th thrads, pull th fabric to dra th thrads up to th thrad cuttr as shon. Th thrads ar cut a propr lngth to start th nxt sam.
