First dc on the round is ch 3. The first 4 dc cl in the round is ch dc cl. It will be a bit wavy after some rounds but it will stretch out when you blow up the balloon, after the two pieces are sl st together. Page 2

Begin in the top of the 4 dc cl 3 dc cl in the same st, (ch 3, 1 dc in the sk dc from R2, ch 3, 3 dc cl in the top of the next cl), repeat () around. (24 dc) R4. Dark grey. Assembly Make two doileys, secure all ends, crochet them together with sl st through the front loops. Make sure you have the right sides facing outwards on both. They will have the wrong sides facing eachother. And now to the messy part ;) Mix 1 dl wooden glue with 1 dl water. Put the lightball in the mixture and make sure it really soaks everywhere. Put in a balloon and blow it up so the lightball really expands. Tie the balloon and tie a long string to it so you can hang it to dry. I recommend that you put a paper or something else below it because it can drip a lot. My lightball dried for about 24 hours. When it s completely dry, puncture the balloon and remove it. Put a mini-bulb-strand in it and your lightball is finished! Page 4
