Fasten off. (29 Leaf sts, 8 stem sts) Felting Instructions Place items in washing machine with several towels, wash in hot water, rinse in cold water, then dry on high heat. Different machines give different results and some yarns and or colors may felt more easily than others, so rep as often as necessary with each item. When items are felted and nearly dry but still damp, roll, pinch and press each item into shape, then let air dry on towel.

FINISHING GRAPES With yarn needle, draw 12- inch strand of chestnut brown through 1 end of a Green Grape, then draw through again to anchor the yarn. Dab the join with a bit of fabric glue if desired.

Optional: Finish Purple Grapes the same way. FINISHING HORN Felt Horn as stated. Following manufacturer s instructions, dip Horn in a bowl of diluted starch or fabric stiffener.

Allow to air dry, replacing towels as necessary. When completely dry insert small amount of fiberfill inside the tip of the Horn to help hold its shape.

5 FINISHING GRAPES With yarn needle, draw 12- inch strand of chestnut brown through 1 end of a Green Grape, then draw through again to anchor the yarn. Dab the join with a bit of fabric glue if desired. Continue with all Green Grapes. Knot 2 3 yarn ends tog approximately 1 inch from Grapes, then knot each of these small bundles tog 1 at a time, roughly into cone shape. Trim all loose ends. Optional: Finish Purple Grapes the same way. FINISHING HORN Felt Horn as stated. Following manufacturer s instructions, dip Horn in a bowl of diluted starch or fabric stiffener. Press out excess liquid and insert a small towel inside of the Horn. Place Horn on towel-covered upturned bowl and shape with your hands, ensuring the tip curves a bit and the rim is turned back. Allow to air dry, replacing towels as necessary. When completely dry insert small amount of fiberfill inside the tip of the Horn to help hold its shape. Arrange the Grapes and 1 or 2 of the Apples so they seem to naturally spill out of the Horn.
