3 Cutting Instructions Use cutting diagram for best cutting layout. Fabrics A-D Cut fi ve rectangles from each fabric. Cut ten 2 2 squares Fabric E & F Cut three 6-1/2 rectangles from each fabric. Cut si 2 2 squares. 6-1/2 6-1/2 6-1/ Fabric G & H Cut two rectangles from each fabric. Cut four 2 2 squares Fabric I Cut fi ve 1-1/2 37-1/2 strips Fabric J Cut three 2 WOF strips. Sub-cut thirty 2 rectangles. Cut four WOF strips. Sub-cut thirty 6-1/2 rectangles. Cut two 1-1/2 WOF strips. Sub-cut si 1-1/2 6-1/2 Cut si 1-1/2 37-1/2 strips. 4 Assemble the Blocks Each block is comprised of one 6-1/2 print, two matching 2 2 squares, and one Fabric J 2 rectangle. Place one 2 square RST at one end of the Fabric J 2 strip. Mark a diagonal line as shown and sew along the marked line. Trim off ecess fabric 1/4 from seam line. Wrong side of printed fabric facing up Cut 1/4 away from mark & stitch line Mark & sew along this diagonal line Right side of Fabric J facing up Press toward the 2 triangle. Place remaining 2 square RST at opposite end of the strip. Mark and sew along the diagonal. Trim ecess away 1/4 from seam line. Press toward the 2 triangle. Mark & sew along this diagonal line Wrong side of printed fabric facing up Cut 1/4 away from mark & stitch line Align unit RST along one short side of the rectangle. Be certain the pieced unit is oriented correctly. Prints should meet along the seam. Sew together, then press seam to the rectangle. Sew together along red line shown Repeat to create thirty blocks. page 4

5 Separate blocks into fi ve stacks of si blocks each, miing the prints among the rows for variety. Each row is comprised of si 6-1/2 rectangles, one 1-1/2 6-1/2 rectangle, one 37-1/2 strip (all from Fabric J), one 37-1/2 Fabric I strip and si assorted blocks. A Rows Assemble the Rows Following the Row Assembly Diagram, sew blocks and 6-1/2 rectangles together, placing 1-1/2 Fabric J strip on the far right. Press seams to one side. Sew 37-1/2 Fabric I strip to the top of the unit. Press seams to the strip. Sew 37-1/2 Fabric J strip to the top. Press seams to one side. Repeat to create three A Rows. Sew the remaining 37-1/2 Fabric J strip to the bottom of one row. This row will become the bottom unit for the fi nished quilt. page

6 B Rows Following Row Assembly Diagram, sew row together using the same process as above, but placing 1-1/2 Fabric J strip on the left. Repeat to create two B Rows. Assemble the Quilt Sew rows together, following Quilt Assembly Diagram below, and alternating rows in order A-B-A-B-A(bottom unit). Row A Row B Row A Row B Row A Your quilt top is complete.
