Or a size suitable. Each square should measure approx. 10 inches x 10 inches (26 cm x 26 cm). Gauge is not essential for this project. Tapestry needle - for sewing in ends. Optional: Blocking board and rust-proof pins. 5 Round 14: Join next color, ch 4 (counts a 1 tr), 2 dc in same place, [1 dc in each st to next corner dc, (2 dc, 1 tr, 2 dc) in corner tr] 4 times in total omitting final ( ) group, 2 dc in same place as beginning sts, join with slst to 4th of beginning ch 4. End color. (132 sts) Round 16: Using joining color, join in any corner tr, ch 1, [(3 sc in tr, 1 sc in each st to next corner tr] 4 times in total, join with slst to first st made. End joining color. (140 sts) Sew in ends and lightly block. Puff Stitch Yarn round hook and insert hook into stitch. Draw up a loop to the height of a hdc. (3 loops on hook) 3 4 Repeat step 1 & 2 twice more. (7 loops on hook). Yarn round hook, draw though 6 loops on hook (2 loops remaining on hook). 5 Yarn round hook and draw a loop through 2 loops on your hook.

6 Front Post Treble 2 Together Wrap yarn round hook twice. Insert your hook to the right of the stitch, from front to back. Then, move your hook from back to front to the left of the same stitch. 3 4 hook once and draw through 2 hook once and draw through Thats the first "leg" complete. Now, we'll work the next "leg"... hook twice. 7 8 Insert hook behind stitch as we did in step 2. hook once and draw through 2

7 9 10 Wrap yarn round hook once and draw through 2 loops on hook. That's the second "leg" complete. Now we'll join the two legs together. hook. 11 Draw through 3 Blocking Whether you choose to block or not is completely up to you. With acrylic yarn it isn't essential and when all the squares are joined they pull into shape anyway. If you do want to block I recommend lightly damping the squares by spraying with lukewarm water. Then pin the squares out to 26 cm x 26 cm and leave to dry. You can pin out your squares on a blocking board, foam tiles or use an old towel. Thank you for joining our Crochet Along.
