2 Working principle The lollipops are being transported through the hopper towards the feeding disk. The unwrapped lollipops are transported further via a chain towards the twisthead. Cable free twisters in the twisthead will bunchwrap the lollipops after which the lollipops are being transported out of the wrapping machine via a chute or popcounter system. The GEA Aquarius BunchWrappers energy consumption is very low, because the wrapping machine uses direct, cable free, electrically heated diaphragms for sealing the wrapping material around the lollipop stick. The revolutionary (patented) film feeding ensures precise positioning, reduced film usage and it allows a wider range of types and qualities of films. When using the option automatic splicing unit, the automatic change of film is being ensured without standstill of the wrapping machine. The GEA Aquarius BunchWrapper 600 or 800 can be equipped with and integrated GEA Aquarius Quality Assurance System. It automatically checks every lollipop on wrapping material and wrapping quality. A lollipop that does not meet your quality standards is automatically rejected and removed from your main product flow. The potential cost savings are substantial in terms of the fewer operator-hours needed to manually check the final product. 3 Flexibility When using the BunchWrapper machine with several additional system options such as a label on film or label on stick unit, container filling system or a PopFeeder system to automatically feed the lollipops towards the wrapping machines are available so you can make you customized line solutions from forming - cooling - wrapping. Diversify your lollipops. Automated container filling system: After wrapping the lollipops the lollipops are being transported via two seperate shutes toward the container filling system and a certain preset number of lollipops will be filled into a container and transported further to a central point. PopFeeder system: to automatically feed the cooled lollipops out of the PopCooler B towards the Popfeeder central discharge conveyor to feed the unwrapped lollipops towards the wrapping machines and transport them out of the bunchwrapper towards a central point.
