2 Working principle The lollipops are being transported through the hopper towards the feeding disk. The unwrapped lollipops are transported further via a chain towards the twisthead. Cable free twisters in the twisthead will bunchwrap the lollipops after which the lollipops are being transported out of the wrapping machine via a chute or popcounter system. The GEA Aquarius BunchWrappers energy consumption is very low, because the wrapping machine uses direct, cable free, electrically heated diaphragms for sealing the wrapping material around the lollipop stick. The revolutionary (patented) film feeding ensures precise positioning, reduced film usage and it allows a wider range of types and qualities of films. When using the option automatic splicing unit, the automatic change of film is being ensured without standstill of the wrapping machine.
