4 CASE STUDY: The Lab 70FT PANORAMA FESTIVAL NYC JULY 2016 PRODUCERS: AEG GOLDEN VOICE HP / Intel Produced by AEG & Golden Voice (producers of The Coachella Festival) the inaugural Panorama Festival launched in Randall s Island Park, one of New York City s most unique and multi-faceted public spaces. Beyond being being a traditional music festival Panorama was billed as a place to experience the best in innovative new entertainment technology Sponsored by HP / Intel 360 Dome Pro anchored the LAB an interactive experience that combined technology, artistry and design, created exclusively by New York-based artists. THE LAB was an experiential digital art exhibition in the heart of the festival with seven interactive installations featuring a 70Ft. 500 capacity 360 virtual reality dome theater.
5 CASE STUDY: 50 FT VOODOO FESTIVAL NEW ORLEANS, LA OCTOBER 2015 PRODUCERS: LIVE NATION - PEPSI The portable rigid-frame dome withstood both wind and rain to protect the projection system and other equipment from damage throughout the weekend. As the sun set over New Orleans City Park on the opening night of the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, attendees were drawn to the Pepsi Art Dome with its outer shell bathed in digital art projected from towers surrounding it. Inside the 12 meter (40- foot) closed dome audiences were treated to a show, using works from eight digital artists, projected at 4K resolution by the Fulldome.pro DX8 projection system. The original art was animated by Fulldome Lab and Likuid Art a growing online subscription-based repository of original digital and animated art. As the weather turned wet on Halloween Saturday, the inside of the dome provided temporary refuge for soaked patrons, while bands played on the four stages outside. With rain continuing to fall, the organizers of Voodoo Fest were forced to cancel the final day.
