Whether you choose to host a private event before or after the Center s public viewing hours, you and your guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience rivaled by no other! The mission of the California Science Center is to stimulate curiosity and inspire science learning in everyone by creating fun, memorable experiences. To further this mission our dedicated event staff will be delighted to assist in full planning and execution of your truly memorable event. By hosting an event at the Science Center, you will be assisting us with our free general admission policy and our world-class exhibit and educational programs. Imagine you and your guests surrounded by our 188-thousand gallon Kelp Forest tank or captivated by Space Shuttle Endeavour! We offer these unique venues and many more to support your corporate, non-profit or social event ranging from two people to thousands.

2 FULL-SERVICE EVENT PLANNING The California Science Center extends convenient one-stop shopping for your unique event needs. Within our five distinct venues we can accommodate up to 10,000 guests, all while offering you a curated list of excellent caterers, convenient on-site parking, full-service event managers, private access to our permanent and temporary exhibits, and complimentary use of available in-house equipment.

The Samuel Oschin Pavilion is the current home of the iconic Standing: 1,000 Seated: 800 orbiter, Space Shuttle Endeavour. Guests may enjoy cocktails and/or dinner directly under the wings of this national treasure. Dazzle your guests with the crown jewel of our permanent Theater: 600+ Sq Ft: 16,000 collection which traveled to space and back twenty-five times!

Your guests will discover how humans design aircraft, spacecraft and space probes while enjoying cosmic cocktails and appetizers. This venue is the ideal pre-function reception space, featuring authentic space capsules from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space missions, before heading off to dinner under Endeavour. 7 DONALD P. LOKER CONFERENCE CENTER Conveniently located on the first floor of our Howard F. Ahmanson Building, this multi-functional black-box venue is available both during the day and evening. The Loker Conference Center can be divided into two to four breakout spaces for conferences or used as one large space for events a gala dinner, grand nightclub, trade show or presentation. The entire room is equipped with built-in AV. Standing: 800 Seated: 550 Theater: 720 Sq Ft: 7,500 Venue available beginning in early 2019, after third-party exhibit closes.
