2 Dear Colleague: As you are keenly aware, the past couple of years have had a tremendous impact on the profession of Internal Auditing. We are now viewed, more than ever in history, as the balancing force between ethics, good governance, integrity and security and the constituency we all serve. With this awesome responsibility comes the challenge of how we will accommodate our internal as well as our external customers with reduced budgets, fewer resources and increasing demands on our time and skills. As a result, the Institute of Internal Auditors Atlanta Chapter is pleased to present to you the opportunity to expand and hone your many skills at the 2007 IIA Southeastern Regional Conference September 9 12, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia. We have prepared for you a program that is exciting and designed to meet the needs of auditors at every level encompasses our theme the Tone at the Top. The Conference will provide all attendees the opportunity to address many of the key issues facing each and every one of us through one of the five dynamic tracks being offered: Corporate Governance; Fraud; Audit Skills and Professional Growth; Not for Profit; and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA ) Review. Generally speaking, you could expect to spend two to three times as much for a program of this quality, but in Atlanta you will be given this opportunity at an extremely affordable price. In addition we have assembled an impressive roster of keynote speakers including the conference kick-off by Mr. Paul Sobel, Vice President, Internal Audit, for Mirant Corporation and Senior Vice Chairman of The IIA North American Board. September in Atlanta is truly a delightful time of year to develop new friendships and make new contacts. Please come and join your fellow auditors in our culturally diverse city offering world-class restaurants and attractions, as well as a memorable conference experience. Sincerely, Thomas D. Gary,, CISA William J. Mulcahy, CIA Chairman President, IIA Atlanta Chapter 2007 IIA Southeastern Regional Conference IIA District Representative PLATINUM SPONSOR CONFERENCE REGISTRATION 4:00 7:00 p.m. Sunday Registration 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday Registration 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Tuesday Registration 8:00 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Registration
