2 ISTANBUL TALKS FINTECH 2016 CONFERENCE Istanbul TALKS is a conference series which aim to add value to Istanbul. The series embraces the EMEA region geographically as well as the topics concerned. Istanbul TALKS Fintech 2016 Conference will be held on May 24, 2016 at Ciragan Palace. SPEAKERS Alastair Lukies Business Ambassador to British Prime Minister on FinTech Alastair Lukies founded Monitise in Three years later, Monitise was recognised as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and in June 2007 he led the company s demerger from Morse and listing on the LSE's AIM market. In January 2014, he was first appointed as a Business Ambassador to the Prime Minister for the financial services industry by the UK Government, and today acts as the sole Business Ambassador for FinTech. Alastair Lukies will share his perspectives on how technology transforms the way business is done and the future of fintech industry.

3 Barbaros Ozbugutu Founder & CEO, Iyzico Barbaros Ozbugutu started his career in the Telecommunication at o2 Telefonica before stepping in payments. He has more than 15 years of experience in the global payment and telecom segment. He worked in companies like Firstdata, TeleCash and Klarna. At the end of 2012, he founded his own payment company in Istanbul. He is now acting as co-founder and CEO of iyzico, one of the fastest growing startups in Turkey, offering the easiest way accepting payments online. Barbaros Ozbugutu will be at Istanbul TALKS Fintech 2016 Conference to share his views about how the payment industry has come to challenge the legacy systems. Chris Larsen CEO, Ripple Chris Larsen is CEO and co-founder of Ripple and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to Ripple, Chris co-founded and served as CEO of Prosper, a peer-to-peer lending marketplace, and E-LOAN, a publicly traded online lender. During his tenure at E-LOAN, he pioneered the open access to credit scores movement by making E-LOAN the first company to show consumers their FICO scores. Chris serves at the Board and Advisory levels at numerous companies and organizations including: Betable, CreditKarma, and Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC). Chris Larsen will talk about his experience on developing fintech policies and practices and how he transformed innovative ideas into a large company. Soner Canko CEO, BKM Dr. Soner Canko graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Science, Public Administration Department. He also received master s degree and Ph.D from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics. Dr. Soner Canko s career was commenced in Dışbank, then he took up managerial roles in Citibank, Alternatif Bank and Bank Kapital. Dr. Canko continued his career as Business Development Manager in HP Consultancy, CEO in Bilesim Payment Systems, Founder and CEO of First Data Turkey, and lastly Executive Vice President of Ziraat Bankası. Currently, Dr. Canko is working as CEO of Interbank Card Center (BKM), in which he previously took role as Board Member and Chairman during 2003 and Soner Canko will share his thoughts on next generation players in the world of payments and transfers and how they challenge the legacy system.

4 Marcus Swanepoel Co-founder and CEO, BitX Marcus Swanepoel who has previously worked for Morgan Stanley, 3i and Standard Chartered Bank is CEO and Co-founder of BitX, a global crypto-currency platform, providing highly secure mobile wallets, institutional quality exchanges and various API s for merchant and other business integration. The customers around the world use this platform for faster and cheaper money transfers, buying online, and trading and storing their Bitcoin. His team built the first ever fully-integrated Bitcoin / Blockchain system for a major multinational bank. Marcus Swanepoel will share his perspective on Bitcoin with Istanbul TALKS Fintech 2016 audience. Peter Randall CEO, SETL Peter Randall was founding CEO of Chi-X Europe Ltd. and led the company from 2005 until 2009 which co-incided with its growth from an unknown platform to be one of the top 5 platforms in Europe by volumes traded. Subsequently, as CEO of Equiduct, he restructured the business and turned it into the fastest growing platform in Europe in Prior to these assignments he was COO at Instinet Europe Ltd. and Executive Director of FIX Protocol Ltd. He is currently CEO of SETL where he leads a very experienced team of finance professionals, technologists and market structure specialists.
