1 Shri Srivatsa Krishna, IAS Secretary to Government Department of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology and DPAR (e-governance), Government of Karnataka Srivatsa Krishna, topped India (1 out of about 500,000 candidates) in the National Civil Services Examination in 1994, was awarded President of India's Gold Medal and joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), India's top management government cadre. He was part of the leadership team, which pioneered E---governance in India, and created one of Asia s largest IT and investment clusters, Cyberabad, which has been globally acclaimed by Businessweek, The Economist, and TIME as a marvel of Modern India. This team was instrumental in bringing in several Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft (for their only off---shore Software Development Center outside Seattle, US), HSBC, General Electric, Google, IBM, and Oracle etc. to invest in Hyderabad, valued today at $5.2b by a recent Goldman Sachs BRICS report. He went on to become the first serving IAS officer to complete the MBA Program at Harvard Business School and is an alumnus of Oxford University as well. While at Harvard he co---authored a research study on clusters, competitiveness and economic development in India with University Professor Michael Porter and on engendering disruptive economic growth in emerging markets with the global innovation guru Professor. World Economic Forum at Davos honored him as one of its Top 100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow in Davos in Thinkers 50, has recognized him as one of top 50 thinkers from India in In he led a study commissioned by the highest levels of the Government of India on PPPs and private equity regulation and policy for the country on behalf of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), The World Bank Group. Srivatsa served in the Strategy, Finance and Risk Management Vice Presidency at the World Bank in Washington D.C where he was co---heading investing the World Bank's annual internal fund of about $2b and managed its capital allocation portfolio in various assets in different countries around the world (Assets Under Management valued at over $100 billion in ). Investments made globally predominantly in customer facing industries, healthcare, financial services, IT services and BPO, infrastructure and energy, and telecom. He has also worked on conceptualizing, investing and executing several infrastructure projects in about 18 different countries around the world, including the world s largest Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Aqaba, Jordan, China and India. This included a project to reshape the course of the Arabian Canal, a $61b project, which is considered to be the single largest infrastructure project ever in human history, to create several water front cities,

2 world---class infrastructure and living spaces in excess of 200m sq. m He is an invited member on the Global Infrastructure Advisory Board of McKinsey and Company, and the Porter Prize Steering Committee in his individual capacity. He has been invited to be a Visiting Professor at Stanford University, a rare honour for a serving civil service official. Srivatsa writes regularly for Times of India, Wall Street Journal, Business Today, Financial Times, etc and is a prominent commentator on prime time national television on BBC, CNN, Times Now and BBC. He has spoken on the Global TED stage, The Economist India Annual Summit, Harvard Business School Centennial Summit, and World Economic Forum, Davos. He is currently completing his PhD at IIT, Madras. Srivatsa has sung playback for "Shanghai", a Bollywood production, about an IAS officer's life, whose main protagonist is inspired by his own life and has auditioned for India's Oscar Award winning composer A.R.Rahman for a forthcoming production.

He completed his graduation from a prestigious institute in Bangalore & left for United States to pursue higher education. He joined the University of Virginia, Charlottesville and did his Residency in Oncology. He did his Fellowship in Radiation Oncology & Medical Oncology from the world renowned M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston. With over 35 years of experience in the field of oncology at some of the reputed Cancer Centres in US., Dr. Ajaikumar had a vision to start a world class cancer care centre with the latest technology and best of expertise in India. He joined a group of specialists at Bangalore in 1989 and started the 'Bangalore Institute of Oncology' the only private cancer hospital at that point in time in Bangalore. 7 Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan (Kris) Co-Founder & Executive Vice Chairman, Infosys Limited S. Gopalakrishnan is Executive Vice Chairman of Infosys. Mr. Gopalakrishnan, along with N.R. Narayana Murthy and five others, founded Infosys in Mr. Gopalakrishnan was voted the top CEO (IT services category) in Institutional Investor s inaugural ranking of Asia s top executives and selected as one of the winners of the second Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards by Corporate Governance Asia in He was also selected to Thinkers 50 in 2009, a list compiled by Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer, the IE Business School, Madrid, and the London Business School s Management Innovation Lab.
