4 Andrew L. Zumbar Municipal Court Judge Judge Andrew L. Zumbar was elected to serve as the Alliance Municipal Court Judge beginning January Alliance for twenty-two years. Judge Zumbar graduated from Alliance High School in 1985, Mount Union College, magna cum laude, in 1989 and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Judge Zumbar also served as the City of Alliance Law Director from 1996 through 2013, and formerly served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General. Judge Zumbar previously served as the Asst. Solicitor for the Village of Sebring, Ohio for 13 years. During the time that he practiced law, Judge Zumbar tried more than 200 cases to jury verdict and secured more than 500 search warrants. He has appeared before many trial courts, appellate courts and the Supreme Court of Ohio, as well as administrative agencies of the state and its political subdivisions. Judge Zumbar has been active in many community organizations. He attends St. Joesph Catholic Church with his wife, Michelle, and their three children. She attended Ohio Northern University after graduating from Center High School in Monaca, PA. MaryAnne was elected Alliance Municipal Clerk of Court in November She was re-elected to a second - ment for almost twenty years. She is a member of the Alliance Woman s Club and in the past has served on the Board of Trustees as the 2nd Vice President, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer, Ways and Means; Alliance Garden Club, Treasurer; Alliance Area Republican Club; Votes for Women, Ohio Association of Municipal/County Court Clerks; 2014 committee for the Carnation Queen s Pageant; 2014 Chairperson for the Carnation Flower Show. She attends Realife Assembly of God Church in Salem.
