1 Celebrating the Past, Present & Future October 2-3, 2014 Fall Conference Hilton Hotel and Spa Short Pump, Virginia
2 Welcome from the President VASBO operates under a strategic plan which sets our direction and controls how the changing succession of leaders navigates. This plan is critical to helping us maintain focus, direction, and purpose. It is my job to steer this association and keep it moving down the track. Our challenge this year has been to find more cost effective ways of serving our members needs. We have worked to find new ways to encourage networking, professional development, sharing of ideas, communication and collaborating, and advancing our profession. The VASBO fall conference is designed to introduce innovative ways to assist you in your daily functions. At this conference, you will continue to develop partnerships that will provide support in your school districts. I invite all members to express ideas and suggestions freely. I hope you will take advantage of the variety of speakers we have presenting relevant information on important topics that affect us all.
