3 A SELECTION OF OUR EXPERIENCE Advising the underwriter on the approximately ZAR10 billion rights issue by Remgro. Advising on the acquisition of a Namibian financial services group managing in excess of NA$8 billion of third-party capital. Advising a leading South African financial services group on an insurance, lending and banking joint venture with African Bank Holdings Limited. Advising a food manufacturer on its accelerated bookbuild in which it raised gross proceeds of ZAR662.5 million. Advising a listed construction company on the selection of two emerging contractors as part of the Voluntary Rebuild Programme in the construction sector that will accelerate the racial transformation of the industry and raise combined revenue attributable to BEE contracts to as much as ZAR27 billion within seven years. Advising a Mauritian entity on the refinancing of debt and provision of working capital by means of a ZAR and GBG facility of approximately ZAR16 billion. Advising on the acquisition of 15 percent of a South African electronics business. Advising the borrower of a KES2 billion working capital facility provided by a local Kenyan bank. Advising the issuer on a ZAR350 million amendment and restatement of preference share terms to provide liquidity for an investment by a leading African manufacturer in businesses in Kenya and Ethiopia. Advising the lender on the term loan facility for the restructuring of debt and continued infrastructure development of a leading property development in Johannesburg. 03
