Kahlil Gibran This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Anthony Richard Cacio who was born in Connecticut Meriden on May 5, 1979 and passed away on June 13, You will live forever in our memories and hearts. My Dear Brother, I loved you in life and now I honor you in death. 3 I am Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I am following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of the day. If parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah, these things I, too, will miss. Be not burdened with time of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved one touched. 17 Cely Look up and smile June 18, 2007 My dear, I'm sure that Tony is having a great time with Danny, David and all the others who parted before us. They are in the best place anyone would want to be. No pain, no sadness, no problems...they all deserve the best and that is what they have now. It is so hard not to see them any more but God gives us what we need to help us live a day at a time with the hope that some day we will again be together. You have done such a great job with this web site that Tony is smiling eveytime someone opens it and looks at the great memories you have put together here. Look up and smile, he can see you and with every ray of light comes a smile from him to you too and at night that big big star that shines so bright is there to tell you that so is he, shining back at you...look up and smile. 22 Life is really hard without you. Sometimes I sit and cry all by myself, sometimes I share my grief...it's hard,really hard. We all miss you so much and the love we have for you will never die. I think that's why the pain won't either. It get s harder T, it's just so freakin hard. I have so many memories of as kids, as young adults and adults..i want more. I would give years of my life to have one minute of yours back. I can here your laughter in my head as I type this, I know that you are in an amazing place, with amazing people and one day too I will be there with you. As for now my baby bro I ask you to keep visiting me and help me through the tough times, you know what I'm saying to you...we talk all the time... jackie "your homegirl forever" i remember the last time you and i talked. it had been a while and we had a lot of catching up to do. i believe the conversation was about 2 and a half,almost 3 hrs long. we actually shocked ourselves!! =) you were planning on going up to visit peggy and we were going to go out together that weekend. life happens whether we want it to or not and plans fell through but i at least have the memory of the last thing we said to each other. Uncle Jig always said that if he had to send me into a war zone and I had you and Jason by my side he would not have to worry. I remember looking at you thinking this can't be real, I remeber Jay almost collapsing, Mom sobbing, Peggy shaking, Dad a rock. It's hard without you. Your smile, your laughter... I loved your laugh. 30 I was lucky enough to have Tony come visit me in March Having him here and seeing him with his kids warmed my heart. We spent a day in DC and the weekend relaxing. He was the happiest I had ever seen him. He talked about his job and his family with great pride. I was so lucky to have that time with him and I am so glad I embraced it the way I did. I had never felt so close to him, we talked on the phone all the time after that and I loved that his kids finally got to know Auntie Nay. One of my fondest memories was watching him and Jeff talk on the deck, they talk for an hour or so, the next day Jeff said to me "Wow Tony has really changed", and he had.

31 Tony had a heart of gold. When Uncle David was sick Tony called everyday to talk to him and he let Uncle Dave plan his life and indulge in stories of money, cars, and being the head of the family. The next time I would see my brother was at Uncle Dave's funeral. His heart was broken and he looked like a lost little boy. I know that my brother and uncle are together and that gives me a huge sense of peace. RIP T-Touch

33 May 5, 1979 Born in Connecticut Meriden on May 5, June 13, 2007 Passed away on June 13, June 13, 2007 Tony lived his life as 1 of 2, an identical twin to his brother Jason. Tony was born prematurely, his lungs were under developed and he could barely eat. He started his life as he lived it, a fighter. The twins as we called them were a force to be reckoned with, just ask Mom and Dad they could tell you story after story. A geeky kid with big glasses blossomed into this wild young man. I spent the better part of my life bailing him out and worrying about him. Tony was a legend in his own mind. The wild young man grew into a loving father, to little T(Tony) and Juju(Julie). Tony was so proud of them and he loved them with all his heart. Tony died on June 13th A life lived like no other. This is just a glimpse of Tony, remember him as a fighter, a geeky kid, wild young man and most of all a Loving Father.
