Affiliation Fees Abbreviations Full Membership 9, 10, 11, 12 Yrs, Group 3 = R Groups 4, 5, 6 = R Recreational Membership RM = R Upgrade from Social to Full Membership FM URM 9, 10, 11, 12 Yrs, Group 3 = R Groups 4, 5, 6 = R Assisted Full Membership AFM = R Club Affiliation = R District s affiliation (includes Prov. affiliation) = R Paid Life Membership = R Honorary JSA Life Membership = No Charge JSA License Record Book (Duplicate Book = R10.00) = Leisure Membership - Pre-School (6 years & younger) = FREE FREE Leisure Membership - Parent/Supporter = FREE Coaches accreditation valid for 4 years = R Visually Impaired: All of the above applies and can only be claimed if grants were received and funding is available, afterwards! #Note: Development Clubs: Only one development club per district allowed A minimum of 10 development licenses per club No Club registration fees payable to JSA by development club Development club must be affiliated with a district and Province Once the development club has become a full membership club, then only another development club can be started No voting rights powers are assigned to the development club

2 2. No Annual Rebate Applicable 3. Entry Fees 3.1 JSA Open Championships: Individuals - JUDO = R per entry (group 5 entering in Group 6 = No Charge) KATA pairs = R per person Creative KATA = R per participant (maximum of six participants in a group) Teams = R per team (minimum of two Teams per district) Masters = R per entry Wild Cards = R per entry (max two entries per district per weight category) Visually Impaired: All of the above applies and can only be claimed if grants were received and funding is available, afterwards! 3.2 SA Schools Championships: Fees = R per entry Visually Impaired: All of the above applies and can only be claimed if grants were received and funding is available, afterwards! 3.3 JSA National Ranking Events : Individuals - JUDO = R per entry Visually Impaired: All of the above applies and can only be claimed if grants were received and funding is available, afterwards! 3.4 JSA National Trials : Invited Individuals - JUDO = R per entry Wild cards individuals JUDO = R per entry Normal policy and procedures regarding Trials wild cards and invitations will still apply! 4. CUT-OFF DATES 4.1 Annual Development Registration Applications: 16 March 12: All Other Types of Annual Registration Applications: 16 March 12: Payment of All Types Annual of Registrations: 6 April 12: SECOND CUT-OFF ALL OTHER TYPE OF ANNUAL 6 April 12:00 REGISTRATIONS WITH A MAXIMUM OF 20 REGISTRATIONS PER DISTRICT PAYMENT OF EXTRA REGISTRATIONS TO A MAXIMUM OF 20 PER DISTRICT 13 April 12:00 NOTE: Only Registration Applications on the prescribed form, completed in full and accompanied by a reconciliation and proof of payment with each and every application to the Registrar, Assistant Registrar and Treasurer will be accepted. Incomplete applications /documentation will be rejected and could be subject to penalty fee if corrections not received before applicable cut-off date. Page 2

Penalty Fees 5.1 Late Payment of Annual Registrations Fees: Payment in FULL of Annual Registrations in respect of players, coaches, managers and committee members, is payable not later than 7(seven) days after the closing date for Annual Registrations, UNDER ADVICE to the National Registrar. PENALTY FEE STRUCTURE: Late or Incomplete submission of Registrations: R Late Payment of Registrations: R Any district that does not comply with this requirement will be penalised with the prescribed fee and until payment has been received, the district will not be allowed to submit entries or participate in any JSA Event. 5.2 Late Entries: A player may be entered by his/her district 1 (one) week prior to the tournament, provided that the entry complies with the rules of the JSA Tournament Policy document and JSA Registrations Policy document and will be subject to the following penalty fees: (i) Late Entry where the player is registered for the current registration period = R plus the normal entry fee. Late entry may only be done by the District Registrar, provided it is done 1(one) week prior to the tournament. (ii) Replacement entry where the ORIGINAL Doctor's Certificate is produced (during accreditation) and the replacement player was registered on or before the stipulated cut-off date for the current registration period, for players who will be participation in the JSA Championship tournament = No Charge (iii) Late Entry where the player was not registered before the cut-off date for the current registration period, = R penalty plus the normal registration fee for a full membership and the normal entry fee, will apply, provided this is done 1(one) week prior to the tournament by the District Registrar. (iv) Weight change (one weight up or one weight down) = penalty fee will be equal to the tournament entry fee. (vi) Late Entries may only be done via the National Registrar. 6. SA Open Championships June/July School Holiday 6.1 Entries: 16 MAY 2016 (12:00) Cut-off date for entries for the SA Open Championships, must reach the JSA Registrar no later than this date. Entries of the allowed 2 (two) wildcards per district, per weight category, will be subject to the same cut off date as the rest of the entries for the SA Open Championships. The entries will be processed in the same order as it is received by the JSA Registrar (on a first come first serve basis) and as soon as it has been captured, the list with the processed entry details will be send to the relative district. The District Registrar should then carefully scrutinise the info on the list and WITHIN 5 (five) DAYS advise the JSA Registrar of any changes to be made to the original entries for the district - these changes will be at no charge! 4 NB!!! Changes may only be made to: Spelling of Names/Surnames, Dates of Birth, Gender Age Groups UNDER NO CIRCUMSTNCES MAY PLAYERS BE ADDED OR SUBSTITUTED. After the 5 (five) day "cooling" period NO FURTHER CHANGES, irrespective of the reason, will be entertained by the JSA Registrar. Once the entries for all the Districts have been finalised, the statistics and details of all the entries will be distributed to the affiliated districts and judo fraternity in South Africa. However, LATE ENTRIES or REPLACEMENT ENTRIES will be accepted as per item 5.2. Late Entries (i), (ii) and (iii) above, will be accepted from the appointed District Registrar, provided it is submitted 1(one) week prior to the competition. Weight changes as per (IV) may be done DURING ACCREDITATION provided the applicable penalty fee is paid by the relevant District Representative. 6.2 Payment: 06 JUNE 2016 (12:00) Cut-off date for FULL payment IRO entries of players participating in the tournament. Any outstanding payment for the relative entries will attract a penalty of R , to be paid by the District. Should the penalty fee not be settled before the start of the tournament, players will not be allowed to participate. Payment of the allowed 2 (two) wildcards per District, per weight category, will be subject to the same cut off date as the rest of the entries for the SA Open Championships. 7. National Trials: Players that did not submit and pay their Annuall Registration fees by the 13 April 2015 will not be eligible to take part or be invited to take part in any National Trials.
