Acknowledged 2. At no additional cost to the Owner (as contractor is submitting alternative generator design), provide 4-feet concrete slab for walking around all sides of the generator, in accordance with drawing S160. Modify grading plan (on drawing C031) to provide for adequate drainage for new slab dimensions. See section B for contractor redesign. Current layout drawing (attachment 4) shows only 16-inches clearance on east/west sides. 4-foot clearance will make the slab 25 4 x 35. The pad as designed by the engineer is 50 by 20 in the contract drawings for 1000 square feet. The proposed design is 25 4 by 30 9 for 779 square feet. While this does not take into account the pad thickness it appears that this will be possible without major cost difference. 3. Contractor to provide seismic calculations, in accordance with drawing S160 and and As we noted in the submittal that the seismic calculations will be provided upon equipment approval. 4. Contractor to submit AtC and PtO air permits in accordance with section and D. Energy System will assist the contractor in obtaining these permits. 5. Provide outdoor sound enclosures rated 70dBA at 23 feet per specification. 3 6. Show E-stop switch on wiring diagram, it s unclear if the E-stop is mounted at the generator(s) or at the PMSC panel. The EPO switch is located on each generator at the control panel. Please see the attached wiring diagram 0K0984 page 6 of 10. In addition we have provided a remote mounted EPO switch that can be programmed to shut down all generators in case of emergency. This could be located on the outside of the electrical building. 7. There is a modified one-line exhibit that shows the power connection for the three generators with a Trystar camloc cabinet, what is the purpose of this cabinet? Where should it be mounted and provide recommended conduit size and connections. The use of the Trystart camloc cabinet was in error. It has been removed from the submittal. 8. Provide full-load ampere, voltage and recommended circuit breaker size required for auxiliary power (battery charger, block heaters, etc.) to each generator and the PMSC control panel. Modify and submit drawing E170 showing the proposed field conduit and wire connections from the paralleled generator system to the electrical switchboard for review. Show recommended location of PMSC control panel, Trystar camloc cabinet, and any other ancillary devices and their associated conduit and wire requirements. The Trystar cabinet has been removed from the proposed project. The file SMD1 shows the proposed wiring to and between each generator for both the communications and power conduits and wire. I have taken the liberty of using the engineers drawing E170 to show where the 24 wide PMSC cabinet could be located. I have blanked out over the engineers stamp to as to not be interpreted as an approved drawing. 10. 4 The file SMD1 shows all connections between the generators. Since the engineer has used 1 C. for his communications which is more than adequate for our communications. 11. Provide I/O data information from PMSC panel to PLC for paralleled generator system. Coordinate with system integrator to provide updated interconnection wiring diagrams showing the three generators. On the face of the PMSC panel a remote annunciator will be located that will provide for the four alarm contacts required by the P & ID drawings as noted on I023.
