2 ilogo Slope Mastery Project You will create a logo that describes you. This logo will be an original design created using at least eight line segments. Part 1: The Blueprint You will create the blueprint for your logo on a Cartesian plane using all four quadrants. You will use at least eight lines, including at least one line with each of the following slopes: negative, positive, zero and undefined. The blueprint will include coordinates next to each point on the required eight lines. You may use curves to connect your line segments as long as you have at least 8 line segments. Part 2: The Math Key - Each line will have the slope identified using the Slope Formula and be written in Slope-Intercept Form. If you use more than eight lines, you only have to identify and label eight of the lines. However, the eight identified lines must each have a unique slope. You must turn in all the work you did to create your math key. This work will not be attached to the poster, but turned in separately. Part 3: The Story - You must include an explanation of how you came up with your ilogo and how it represents you. This should be written neatly in paragraph form, using proper grammar. To give a professional finish, use lined paper or produce a typed copy. Part 4: The ilogo - This should be a full color drawing ready to be reproduced on a business card or letterhead. Part 5: Assembly - Your ilogo project will be assembled on a large piece of construction paper. You will attach an ilogo rubric to the back of the poster. To the front of the poster you will affix the following items: 1. The finished ilogo 2. The blueprint 3. The math key 4. The story The ilogo Mastery Project is worth 90 points. You may work with a partner but each student must produce their own original design. You will be given TWO class periods to work on the project, any additional time will need to be taken at home so make the most of the time you re given! This project is due on.

Clear explanation of how ilogo represents you, paragraph is neat, grammar is correct. ilogo is presented in full color, looks professional. ilogo, blueprint, math key, and story are all represented neatly on front of poster, rubric is included on reverse. Good Job 15 Points 25 of the 33 elements are properly drawn, highlighted, marked, and used. 25 of the 32 elements are identified, calculated and communicated. Clear explanation of how ilogo represents you, paragraph is neat, grammar is mostly correct. ilogo is presented in color, looks acceptable. Assembly is missing one portion but is otherwise neat. Needs More Effort 10 Points 17 of the 33 elements are properly drawn, highlighted, marked, and used. 17 of the 32 elements are identified, calculated and communicated. Clear explanation of how ilogo represents you, paragraph is somewhat neat, grammar is somewhat correct. ilogo is not presented in color, looks acceptable. Assembly is missing two portions and/or is very messy. Punctuality Project turned in on time. Project turned in one day late. Project turned in two days late. Needs Serious Improvement 5 Points Less than 17 of the 33 elements are properly drawn, highlighted, marked, and used. Less than 17 of the 32 elements are identified, calculated and communicated. No clear explanation of how ilogo represents you is apparent, paragraph is disorganized, grammar is incorrect. ilogo is messy, looks unacceptable, shows lack of effort. Assembly is completely disorganized, missing construction paper and/or messy. Project turned in three or more days late. Totals
