WHAT COMES NEXT? Students complete the pattern either by drawing the next picture or putting a sticker in the correct place. To prepare the stickers just print them out on the sticker paper and cut out. Here s a set of stickers for 10 students. If you need more, just print more copies of the stickers page.

I have Who has Ask students to sit in a circle, you can use Make a circle song from Super Simple Songs: Pass out the cards to students. Choose a student that starts the game. He/She reads his/her card and puts the cards on the floor, in the middle of the circle so that everyone can see it. The person with the correct card reads his/her card and puts it next the previous card. The game continues in the same way until all the cards are placed on the floor one by one.

Who took the chestnut from the chestnut jar? Print out and cut out the cards from the next page. Ask students to sit in a circle. Distribute the cards to students. If your students don t know the song Who took the cookie? pre-teach them the song first. You can find the song here: Play the game together with your students. Sing the song aloud. You choose the first student and then the students try to guess who took the chestnut. You can also use a real chestnut instead of the image card. Playing this game is a great fun for students.
Who took the chestnut?
Collecting ACORNS game numbers and/or colours revision Print out the image of the squirrel with the basket one copy for each student. Print the number and/or colour cards one set of different cards for each student (instead of printing the acorns you can use the real ones and use a marker or a correction pen to write the numbers and/or colours on them). Ask students to sit in a circle. Say: Ley s collect some acorns for the winter. The squirrel collects acorn number one/a blue acorn and puts it in her/his basket. Do the same with the remaining cards and until there are no cards left. Say: The basket is full now. The squirrel is ready for the winter.
