2 Many parents and teachers are looking for quick and easy skill-based routines for their classrooms. If you have used my Daily Literacy Journals, then adding Daily Math Journals into your routine will be easy. First, each child needs a copy of the journal page. These can be individual sheets, pages in a binder or in a folder. Whichever works for your teaching situation. Second, when it s time to teach the lesson, read the prompt to your student, model the prompt, and then let the child work on it! When the child is finished, I always make sure I take a minute or two to check and see what they have completed. Over time you will see amazing growth in math skills and application of concepts. Enjoy!
