Some instruction/reviewing of bidding and playing will be given. More experienced players may skip the instruction. B-Squad Bridge is intended to develop basic skills, not to reach advanced levels. Players are encouraged to help each other with dealing and shuffling and to give advice when asked. Some table talk is allowed, even encouraged. No advanced sign-up is necessary and there is no charge. Show up individually or with a partner. The purpose of B-Squad Bridge is to have fun in a non-threatening atmosphere. If we stop having fun, we ll disband. It is more social than serious. Our intention is to provide an environment that is relaxed and comfortable so we can get to know each other. There is no charge. You do not have to have a partner. Only experienced players. 2. Must be able to shuffle, deal, bid, and complete a hand in 7 minutes. 3. Must be able to shuffle, deal, pick up cards, and keep score independently. 4. Must have a partner. 5. If one of the partners cancels, the other partner must call Andy to find a sub. Procedure: At each play day, partners need to sign up for the next play day. Use first and last names for the sign up. All other times: Call Andy Skoal or Don Frost (2) two days prior to play day with partners names. Emergency cancellations must call either coordinator. We play four rounds of six hands each. There is a $1 entry fee.
