Shall indicate country of origin legibly and permanently and in a conspicuous place. It must also be in a close proximity and in comparable size to the name of country or locality other than the country of origin appears on the marking. Must be visible at point of purchase. Fire safety warning:- must be in a distinct contrast from its background, placed on the unit of sale and visible to the consumer at the point of sale shall meet minimum size requirements for the components of the text-only option (Table 1) WARNING: Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. _ Remove all packaging material before burning. Cautionary Labeling Review Candle burner F Clause The label must have the following warning message or its practical equivalent. WARNING: For use with quantity of candles, maximum candle size, number of wicks, tape of candle(s). Example: WARNING: For use with one, single wick filled candle up to 22 ounces. Cautionary Labeling Review Candle Accessory F Clause The label must have the following warning message or its practical equivalent. WARNING Do not use a candle greater than X inches tall. Note: Where X = the maximum allowable height of the candle in stability test Specific labeling Requirement F Clause 6.3 The minimum height of the safety alert symbol ( ) and the warning message shall be 0.07 in. (1.8 mm) based on the height of an upper case letter. This warning shall be directly affixed, engraved or attached to the accessory in such a way that it is likely to remain on the item throughout its useful life. If sold with external packaging, this warning shall also appear on the external packaging. Page 2 of

Note: This message must be present in two forms: 1. A conspicuous stick-on label must be on the surface that is clearly visible to the consumer. 2. A conspicuous and legible permanent statement that is on the exterior surface of the base of the ware. The letter shall be at least 3.2mm (0.125in) in height or as provided in the regulation.
