4 Part 2 ABOUT CORNERS BEAD Corners Bead known as External Corners Bead or Corners in construction industry used to reinforce and to trim the plasterboard or gypsum board joint section. Corners Bead or Corners was produced and manufactured by using Galvanized Iron (G.I) with tolerated thickness, Corners Bead final finishing are ready with screw holes at both expanded metal sides and Corners Bead also produced together with NOSING design. Nosing design can detailed explains which the shape is half round edge design of it moulding and this particular design to allow stopping powder or joint compound to have smooth compounding or stopping finishing without detectable shrinkage cracking effecting for time been. Corners Bead also used to prevent shrinkage cracking of the plasterboard or gypsum board junction. In the same time, the round-shape edge of corners bead give better and more round shape edge finishing for gypsum board or plasterboard L-Shape edge joint to be more round finishing. Page: 4
