1 Fine Arts Competition Rules 1. Deadline for entries is Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Noon. No Late Entries. 2. All entries will be displayed through Sunday 2pm, no early collection. 3. Each contestant must be a registered member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. 4. Each entry must reflect a Florida Seminole Theme. 5. Absolutely No Collages 6. Only One (1) entry per category. Age groups 6-9 and years may not enter Oil, Acrylic, or Sculpture 7. Each entry must be accompanied by the, Fine Arts and Traditional Arts & Crafts Registration Form. 8. All entries must be created within the last 12 months (signed and dated). 9. All entries must be matted, framed, and ready for hanging. 10. Items not collected by close of Tribal Fair, Sunday, will be sent back to drop- off location. All judges decisions are final. 11. Artist, or authorized people on Registration, is/are the only persons allowed to collect works. Traditional Arts & Crafts Competition Rules 1. Each entry must reflect a Florida Seminole Theme. 4. Only One (1) entry per category. 5. The Fine Arts and Traditional Arts & Crafts Registration Form must accompany each entry. 6. All entries must be created within the last 6 months. 7. No store bought items embellished or decorated will be accepted. 8. All entries will be displayed through Sunday 2pm, no early collection. 9. Items not collected by close of Tribal Fair, Sunday will be sent back to drop- off location. All judges decisions are final. 10. Artist, or authorized people on Registration, is/are the only persons allowed to collect works. By signing you are agreeing that you understand the above rules and deadline dates of the Fine Arts Competition and the Traditional Arts & Crafts Competition, also entries that do not comply with the rules will be disqualified and will not be judged. Each contestant is limited to one (1) entry per category (each w/seperate form). 3. Contestant must include bottom portion of this form with submission. 4. No Prior entries will be allowed. (2012 Indian Day, 2012Tribal Fair, or other.) 5. All questions will be directed to Tribal Fair Committee Contact listed below. 6. Entries cannot be used for any other contest during Tribal Fair. 7. Deadline is WEDNESDAY, February 6, 2013, 12:00pm. (you may call Thursday to confirm entries.) 8. Entries will be displayed Friday, February 8 - Sunday, February 10, 2:00pm 9. Strict Adherence to Category Sewing Requirements, anything else will be disqualified, no exceptions. 10. Entries can only be collected by Contestant or person(s) listed below. 11. Items not collected will be returned to designated drop-off location. 12. All entries must be 100% original, with photos attached to this form. 6-8 photos showing progress (eg. cutting strips, sewing design, applying ric rack/bias, piecing garment, & finished outfit).
