2 Introduction In growing global competition, suppliers of high-end articles such as workwear are forced to put more emphasis on excellent colour fastness and high ecological standards of their products. DyStar as the leading dye and auxiliary supplier, as well as a solution provider for the textile industry, offers the new Dianix CW-SF disperse dye range in response to the increasing demand for better fastnesses. 3 Characteristics Dianix CW-SF dyes are characterized by very good wash fastnesses at high temperatures and good to excellent fastness to dry heat fixation. These fastness properties are part of typical workwear requirements, (Combined workwear test). They fulfill the most demanding brand and retailer specifications. Dianix Royal CW-SF and Dianix Navy CW-SF show good fastness performance in wash fastness AATCC IIA 49 C as well as in water & perspiration fastnesses. In addition, both dyes have much better reduction stability than C.I. Disperse Blue 284, one of the most frequently used disperse blues worldwide. The good stability of Dianix Navy and Royal CW-SF improves the RFT performance and sets a new quality standard. The new Dianix Rubine CW-SF has besides good fastness properties, the additional special benefit of having no fluorescence.
