7 KAYACELON REACT Reactive Dyes KAYACELON REACT Reactive Dyes are applied using a one-bath neutral dyeing system that can save you time, labor and valuable resources. Lower your energy consumption» Simplified system requires fewer steps, uses less water and conserves resources» No alkali is required for fixation which eliminates 2-3 rinse cycles» Complete addition of chemicals early in the dyeing cycle» Shorter dye cycle drastically reduces demand on utilities for heat and power Reduce your chemical usage» Neutral dyes release only harmless Niacin (vitamin B3) instead of hydrochloric acid» Cleaner effluent means reduced wastewater treatment» Needs only one electrolyte and one buffer to maintain ph Improve reproducibility» dyes have lower sensitivity to dyehouse variables which improves lot-to-lot reproducibility» Better reproducibility reduces the need for reworks, lowers labor and utility costs and increases productivity Enhance fabric appearance» Harsher Monochlorotriazine hot-dyeing reactives can degrade the tensile strength of cellulosic fibers» dyes actually improve tensile strength and enhance the feel and appearance of fabric Reactive Dyes Yellow CN-4G Yellow CN-ML Yellow CN-EX Yellow CN-RL Golden Yellow CN-GL Brown CN-AL Red CN-3B REACT Red CN-7B Blue CN-BL Blue CN-MG Dark Blue CN-R Turquoise CN-2G Affinity Low Moderate Moderate Moderate Moderate Moderate Low Moderate Low

9 Vinyl Sulfone Reactive Dyes These high-performance vinyl sulfone dyes produce a wide range of shades with high wash fastness properties. They are usually dyed at medium temperatures (140 F/60 C) or by various padding or printing applications. They are suitable for cellulosic and polyester/cellulosic blends. Laboratory Analysis We are equipped with the latest technology for evaluating dyestuffs, pigments and pigment dispersions and we can perform testing for light fastness, wet fastness, filtration and solubility. Our lab technicians can provide you with solubility testing, drawdown comparisons, measurement of particle size and viscosity and competitive product comparisons. 11 Bi-Functional Reactive Dyes These multi-anchor dyes contain two reactive groups on the dye molecule. They can be combined with other Vinyl Sulfone Dyes to create bright fashion shades with excellent wash fastness. In addition, these dyes are more tolerant in the production environment than most traditional combinations. Their wide range of fixation temperatures allows greater flexibility in application procedures while still maintaining consistent reproducibility of shade. 13 Hot Reactive Dyes Hot Reactive Dyes are a special class of high exhaust monochlorotriazine dyes developed for high-temperature applications on cotton and rayon fibers. This range of products offers excellent wash fastness and high fixation when applied at 175 F/80 C. These dyes provide exceptional consistency and reproducibility and exhibit good build-up even in low liquor ratio dyeing applications. These dyes provide superior light fastness and stability of color on the fiber. Crocking can be substantially improved with the addition of an aftertreatment. C Reactive Dyes for Cotton Tie-Dye C Reactive Dyes are a special class of dyes for cotton fibers that can be applied at room temperature. Developed primarily for tie-dye, these dyes are also suitable for other types of cotton apparel requiring excellent wash fastness properties.dyeing applications.
