1 PAGE 1 INTRODUCTION Carpet Making bv is a company that aims at the carpet industry and is specialized in creating custom carpets and samples from the complete broadloom carpet collection. Our clients are carpet manufacturers, wholesale businesses, retailers and interior designers. Our company provides various kinds of edging services like serging, binding, volume carpets and concealed binding. We can also sew a leather, an imitation leather or other type of band around your carpet. Carpet Making bv can process large quantities of carpets and samples, but we are also the right partner for your custom work. 2 PAGE 2 OFFICE / ADMINISTRATION Our employees will gladly attend to you in a personal and professional way. Since we have a very advanced computer programme we can quickly and clearly answer all your questions. CUTTING DEPARTMENT Our cutting department has a fully automatic cutting machine that can cut large amounts of carpets and samples up to a width of 500 centimetres in any desired carpet size. This cutting machine can also cut individual carpets of widely divergent sizes. In short, this machine can be used for all kinds of cutting work. PUNCHING DEPARTMENT Our punching department can punch large amounts of small carpet samples, but can also punch steps and/or other smaller work.

3 PAGE 3 SERGING At this department on an air table of 70 square metres carpets and samples of various sizes are finished by sewing yarn of a matching colour around the edges. Thanks to this table we can quickly process large amounts of carpets and samples. ADHESIVE STEPS At this department the punched steps are furnished with a synthetic angle profile. Also in this phase of the production process large amounts of steps can be processed.

4 PAGE 4 CONCEALED BINDING AND BINDING WITH VARIOUS TYPES OF BAND At this department carpets are finished with various types of band, like cotton bands, imitation leather bands and other types of band. We often apply the new technique of concealed binding. This finish has a luxurious and hard-wearing appearance and is often used instead of traditional CARPETS WITH A LEATHER BAND Finishing carpets with a leather band is a very exclusive affair and is often done for small series of carpets or individual carpets. Leather or buckskin is cut out and sewn over the carpet edges. The customer determines the width of the visible border.

5 PAGE 5 VOLUME CARPETS This is our biggest and most successful department. By folding the edges of the carpet and lining it with a special underlay you get a lovely thick high-volume carpet. This extra volume results in a luxurious, soft and comfortable full feel. This technique can be applied to the greater part of your broadloom carpet collection. Especially with a deep-pile or cut-pile carpet style this results in exclusive custom carpets with a rich feel of warmth and calm.
