Demonstration projects of 2016 to pilot intelligent manufacture The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has set up an "Action Plan" and "Implementation Plan" for piloting intelligent manufacturing. The focus lies on five new business modes: discrete intelligent manufacturing process intelligent manufacturing network collaborative manufacturing mass customization and remote operation and maintenance. Four textile and garment related enterprises are listed within 64 demonstration projects of 2016 intelligent manufacture by MIIT. The aim of pilot projects of intelligent workshop/plant is to popularize the implementation of intelligent manufacture and should reduce 20% operation cost and 20% new product launch time, improve 20% production efficiency, decrease 10% scrape rate and increase 10% energy efficiency: Intelligent flexible customized knitwear pilot demonstration platform (Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd.) Standardization projects of 2016 to pilot intelligent manufacture According to MIIT standardization projects are creating the standardization framework of intelligent manufacturing. 38 standardization projects for intelligent manufacture called for comments in June 2016 by MIIT. Three projects are relevant for textile machinery Zhejiang SCI-Tech University Project: The research and experimental verification of inter-connection and inter-operation standards among knitting equipment Task: Standardization of internet interface for knitting equipment and implementation of the standard for communication and operation Project group: Zhejiang Sci-tech University Quanzhou Bai Yuan Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Rifa Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Hengqiang Technology Co., Ltd. Jiangnan University China Textile Machinery Association National Textile Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center Source: Wuxi Internet of Things Industrial Research Institute Project: The comprehensive standardization study and experimental verification platform of textile smart manufacturing No direct news about the new approved project plan has been found. A very close information, which may be the background of the standardization project: Wuxi Jingwei Textile Technology Test Co., Ltd. and Jingwei Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. are responsible for the 2013 intelligent manufacturing project: cotton spinning digital workshop. Its Jingwei e System has been adopted in Wuxi No.1 Cotton Textile Factory, Lutai Textile Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yueda Textile Group, Xuzhou Shiji Tianhong Co., Ltd., etc. This project has been mentioned and reviewed by Ministry of Information and Industry Technology as part of achievement of Wuxi Internet of Things Industrial Research Institute. The digital workshop has implemented high-speed CNC milling machines and other equipment and designed and simulated 3D process plant design system and operation administration system.
3 These two projects are probably highly related. The standardization project is about to standardize the simulation and verification procedure of the digital workshop.
