14 NEREUS-Platform For its members NEREUS wants to provide a platform: enhancing the growing role of citizens in the development of European space policy and markets for information and knowledge exchange for networking and building strong partnerships for mobilising convincing projects and activities sharing experiences

21 CET Working Group (1) CET: Communication, Education and Training Co-chaired by Martina Hilger, Bremen and Malecka Saleman, CNES Started with mapping activities of University Learning Resources in the field of space technologies in the NEREUS regions Collects best-practices of space education

22 Study Courses at University of Basilicata: 4 academic courses on satellite remote sensing and space technology, 2 doctoral schools are presently including Satellite Remote Sensing and Earth Observation curricula, First level Master on Technologies for Space Remote Sensing is co-organised organised jointly with Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (Matera branch) and Telespazio and e-geos (Matera Offices) International PhD in Space Technology for EO planned for 2011

25 Mobilizing Young Network Community Collaboration Agreement with EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) Academic competition Special dedicated section on NEREUS-website for students, graduates and young professionals

26 DORIS_Net-Project Basilicata Partner DORIS: Downstream Observatory organised by Regions active In Space Bremen (CEON) mobilised project proposal for FP7- Space/GMES-call in NEREUS-partners involved in project activities Support Action - Fostering downstream activities and links with regions Project proposal was selected by European Commission and will start beginning 2011 NEREUS officially supports project 26
