7 Towards TITRE a digital society Emergence of new tools for education Since the beginning of 2000 s, the world is progressively invaded by the digital objects allowing data exchanges and transmissions. The development of internet and the multiplication of data centers have opened a new class of applications and have induced a behavior modification on the acquisition of knowledge. A worldwide reflection is now opened on the evolution of scholars and students behavior, on their interests and on the way to acquire new knowledge accordingly to these new usages. Many courses are now accessible to a worldwide audience through the MOOCs, SPOCs, etc... This implies new processes for learning. The MOOCs are able to efficiently provide contents on the principles, on the modeling of the physical phenomena and to allow online simple predictive simulations, as long as the students remain motivated to learn alone in front their computer. 8 Requirement of Practice TITREand Know-how Virtual learning and mandatory know-how The students can perform simulations and analyze the effects of one or another parameter on the whole system behavior. This approach remains virtual. Due to the huge complexity of the connected objects and systems, it is very difficult to take into account: - all the physical parameters, - all the environmental parameters, - all the technological parameters that are governed by the fabrication processes acting on the devices and circuits. Real experiments are required to qualify and certify the objects for their final purpose. The know-how is mandatory to design and fabricate innovative objects. The best way to acquire the know-how is to have during the education period intensive practices or experimental trainings on real things. The practice can be organized through national network. 13 Conclusions TITRE Good background, Innovating and multidisciplinary strategy! In this context, the students must have a background that allows them an adaptation all along their careers. The content of studies will have to develop more and more the know-how, in order to compensate the new on-line lectures. The pedagogical approach will have to change in this way and the adaptation of the teachers will have to be organized. The know-how is basically based on lab-works and practices in the frame of a proactive learning or reverse learning. Common platforms in the frame of a national network appears as the unique solution. In the frame of bilateral cooperation, the content must be complementary and must insure a balance between theoretical knowledge and practice.
