This equipment, which mkes extensive use of our existing dt bus nd dt cquisition IP, combines in single compct irborne unit: MIL-STD-1553 Bus Control, with bus cycle definitions loded from Notebook PC. Dt trnsfer, with reformtting, from one 1553 messge to nother. Minimum ltency cquisition of seril, nlogue nd discrete dt nd its output to the 1553 bus in n `Emulted RT' messge. Rel time monitoring nd full bndwidth recording to the PC whenever connected utonomous opertion t ll other times. Avionics ATE This substntil item of Avionics ATE mkes extensive use of our Bseline Architecture to provide full pre-delivery test solution for flight computer. Interfces provided to the UUT include: Over 40 ARINC 429 chnnels. Similr numbers of nlogue nd discrete I/O signls. Motor drive lods nd monitoring. Position feedbck genertion, including servo models. 400Hz nd 28V dc supplies, switchble, vrible nd interruptible. Built in touch screen PC nd Softwre.

10 Airflir Technicl Services April 2010 Project Exmples Here re few more exmples of our chievements to dte: Avionics Simultor Bsed on the combintion of two COTS test products, repckged in stndrd enclosure, this system simultes the flight deck displys ssocited with n electricl power control system. Airflir's stndrd dtbus tester softwre, ZEUS, is enhnced using custom softwre plug-in, to provide high fidelity representtion of the cockpit presenttion while t the sme time llowing ccess to low level detil to id development nd proving ctivities. Airborne Computer Airflir designed nd mnufctured the complete Electronics Module (bsed on lrgely third prty COTS components) for this equipment nd provided finl ssembly, test nd repir fcilities for it. In conjunction with the customer nd the mnufcturer of the enclosure, this work ws completed, nd first units delivered, in pproximtely three nd hlf weeks for n urgent UK MoD project. Comms Control Pnel This equipment ws designed, developed nd mnufctured entirely by Airflir nd is now in service with the RAF. Agin, mjor feture of the work ws tht the entire project, from initil go-hed to first delivery, ws completed in just four weeks. Dtbus Tester Products Airflir hve developed, nd supply s off-the-shelf items, rnge of USB connected Avionics Dtbus Testers.
