Intrductin The ACC Mbile 3 Preview app gives yu the ability t mnitr event alerts and vide frm yur mbile device. Device Requirements ios 9 r later. ios device (ipad, iphne, r ipd tuch) with Apple A7 prcessr r better. System Requirements T access yur Avigiln Cntrl Center (ACC) system frm a mbile device, the fllwing are required: ACC Server sftware must be installed. The ACC Mbile 3 Preview app requires at minimum ACC sftware versin 6.2. Sme features, as nted belw, require a mre recent versin. ACC Web Endpint must be installed n the same cmputer as the ACC Server. The ACC Web Endpint is pre-installed n mst Avigiln netwrk vide recrders and appliances. Fr ACC ES Recrders and ACC ES Analytics Appliances, a firmware release that includes ACC sftware versin 6.2 r later is required. Yu can dwnlad the latest ACC sftware and firmware frm avigiln.cm. ACC Web Endpint must have access t the internet ver HTTPS. The ACC Web Endpint cmmunicatin prt must be pen and accessible t mbile devices. The ACC Web Endpint uses prt 443 n the ACC ES Recrder and the ACC ES Analytics Appliance. The ACC Web Endpint uses prt 8443 n Windws servers. ACC site lgin credentials must include a passwrd. The ACC Mbile 3 Preview app will nt allw yu t lg in t a site with credentials that d nt have a passwrd. Add a passwrd t yur user accunt befre lgging in t a site frm the app. Alarms must be cnfigured in the ACC Client sftware. Alerts received in the ACC Mbile 3 Preview app are alarms frm the ACC sftware. Yu will nly receive alerts if yu are cnfigured t be an alarm recipient. Fr mre infrmatin abut cnfiguring alarms, see yur editin versin f the Avigiln Cntrl Center User Guide. Digital utputs must be cnfigured in the ACC Client sftware. Triggering digital utputs frm mbile devices is nly available fr sites running the ACC Server and the ACC Web Endpint versin 6.6.2 r later. Yu will nly be able t trigger a digital utput frm yur mbile device if yu have permissin. Fr mre infrmatin abut cnfiguring digital utputs, see yur editin versin f the Avigiln Cntrl Center User Guide. Initial Setup After yu first install the app n yur mbile device, yu must cnfigure the app t cmmunicate with yur ACC system. 1. Frm yur mbile device hme screen, tap. 2. Read the End User License Agreement and tap ACCEPT & CONTINUE. The Hme page displays the fllwing message: N Sites Are Currently Cnnected If this message is nt displayed, a site has already been added. Fr mre infrmatin, see Managing Site Cnnectins n page 9. 3. Tap SETUP SITES. 4. On the Settings page, tap Cnnect t Sites. The Edit Addresses page is displayed. 5. Enter the site cnnectin details: a. Tap Add Mre Addresses. b. In the IP Address r Hstname field, enter the address t the server in yur site. c. In the Prt Number field, enter the server prt number. The default prt number is 443 r 8443, depending n the platfrm that the ACC Web Endpint is installed n. d. In the tp-right crner, tap Save. When yu first cnnect t a site, yu may be presented with a certificate warning. Tap ACCEPT t cntinue the setup prcess. If yu reject the certificate, yu will need t delete the address befre yu can add it again. Yu can als exit and restart the app t view and accept the certificate. The Settings page is displayed and the Sites area nw lists the number f sites that yu have access t. Tip: If yu have access t multiple sites using the same lgin credentials, add all the site addresses befre lgging in. When lgging in, yu can select t lg in t All Sites at nce. 6. Lg in t the site: a. On the Settings page, tap Sites. b. On the Manage Sites page, tap a site in the list. c. T lg in t all sites that yu are cnnected t, tap the site displayed belw LOG IN TO: and n the fllwing page, tap All Sites. d. Enter yur Username and Passwrd. e. Tap Save. Yu are returned t the Manage Sites page. Initial Setup 2
7. Return t the app Hme page. a. In the tp-left crner f the Manage Sites page, tap Back. b. On the Settings page, tap Clse. The Hme page displays the Alerts tab by default. If there are n active alerts, the page is empty. Tap the Cameras tab t see live vide frm yur site. Initial Setup 3
Alerts The Alerts tab n the ACC Mbile 3 Preview app hme page displays a list f all the active alarms cnfigured in the Avigiln Cntrl Center system. The alerts are srted by: Status ASSIGNED, ACTIVE, ACKNOWLEDGED. Pririty a pririty is assigned t the alert when it is cnfigured as an alarm in the ACC Client sftware. Mst recent trigger time. Belw the name f the alert is the date and time f the last trigger, and the current status f the alert. Pull-t-refresh the screen and see the latest alert status. The number ver the icn indicates the number f triggers that have been generated. The icn indicates the alert has been acknwledged. Each thumbnail image is frm a camera that is linked t the alert. Swipe left t see all the cameras that are available. Tap anywhere n an alert t see the details. Alerts 4
Alert Details and Actins When yu tap n an alert, yu are taken t the alert details page. This page gives yu access t the alert histry and vide recrding f each trigger. Alert Histry The first alert detail page shws the date, time and vide f the mst recent alert trigger. Swipe right t see the previus instances f the alert. The app maintains the last 10 instances f the alert. Swipe left and right t mve between alert instances. Alert Vide Playback Tap a thumbnail t see the recrded alert vide. In the vide player, yu can perfrm the fllwing actins: Tap t play the recrded vide. Tip: Yu can zm and pan the vide while it is playing. Yu can als tap the screen nce t hide the header and playback cntrls frm view. Tap t pause playback. Tap n the left t extend the alert vide t include vide recrded prir t the alert. Each time yu tap this icn, the vide extends by 15 secnds, r as far as there is recrded vide. Tap n the right t extend the alert vide t include vide recrded after the alert. Each time yu tap this icn, the vide extends by 15 secnds, r as far as there is recrded vide. Tap in the tp-right crner t switch t the camera's live vide stream. Tap t return t the recrded vide. Alert Actins The Alert Status is displayed belw the alert name at the tp f the page. Yu can change the alert status by perfrming the fllwing actins: Tap t assign the alert t yurself. This lets ther users knw that yu are investigating the event. Tap the icn again t unassign the alert and return it t Active status. Tap t acknwledge the alert. This lets ther users knw that the alert has been reviewed and is n lnger active. After an alert has been acknwledged, yu can tap t purge the alert frm the list. Once purged, yu will n lnger be able t access the event frm the Alerts tab. Alert Details and Actins 5
Alert Ntificatins Yu are ntified f alerts thrugh the app and thrugh yur mbile device. When yu have the ACC Mbile 3 Preview app pen, yu are ntified f new alert triggers thrugh a red banner that appears at the tp f the screen. Tap the banner t g directly t the alert details page. Tap the x n the right-end f the banner t dismiss the alert ntificatin. The banner aut-hides if it is ignred. When the app is minimized r nly running in the backgrund, yu are ntified f new alert triggers thrugh the device Ntificatin Center. If the mbile device is idle, the alert ntificatins are displayed n the lck screen. Tap the ntificatin t g directly t the alert details page. Fr mre infrmatin abut the alert details page, see Alert Details and Actins n the previus page. Swipe left t dismiss the alert ntificatin. The Ntificatin Center retains a list f the alert ntificatins in rder f mst recent until they are cleared. NOTE: Device ntificatins may behave differently depending n the mbile device. Cameras The Cameras tab n the ACC Mbile 3 Preview app hme page displays a list f all the cameras that yu have access t. The fllwing details are displayed fr each camera: Camera name Camera mdel The site it is cnnected t Lcatin Cameras are listed alphabetically by name. A thumbnail preview f the camera vide is displayed. Pull-t-refresh the screen t see the latest camera cnnectins and vide thumbnails. Tap any camera rw t display the maximized vide page. Zming and Panning Yu can digitally zm and pan vide frm any camera. 1. Tap a camera frm the Cameras list. The live camera stream is maximized. Tap nce t hide the banner displaying the camera name and current timestamp. Tap again t display the banner again. 2. Place tw fingers n the image panel and pull apart t zm in. 3. While zmed in, drag the screen t pan acrss the vide image. 4. Place tw fingers n the image panel and push tgether t zm ut. 5. Tap the Back arrw in the tp-left crner f the banner t return t the Cameras list. Bradcasting Audi If yu have a speaker cnnected t yur camera, yu can use the micrphne in yur mbile device t bradcast audi in respnse t an event. NOTE: T use this feature, yu must enable the camera's speaker in the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client sftware. Fr mre infrmatin, see the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide. Be aware that the app nly supprts ne-way audi. Yu can bradcast audi thrugh the camera speakers, but yu will nt hear any respnse even if there is a micrphne cnnected t the camera. Cameras 7
1. Tap a camera frm the Cameras list. The live camera stream is maximized. The is displayed at the bttm f the screen if there is a speaker cnnected t the camera. 2. Tap and hld then speak int yur micrphne. Yu can speak int yur mbile device's internal micrphne, a wired headset micrphne r a Bluetth micrphne. The icn changes t range t shw that audi bradcasting is in prgress. As yu speak, the audi levels expand utwards t shw hw lud yu are speaking. If the persn in the vide des nt seem t hear yu and the audi level is lw, yu may need t speak luder. NOTE: The system will autmatically stp bradcasting audi if yu hld Release the buttn then tap and hld again t cntinue speaking. fr mre than 2 minutes. Triggering a Digital Output If yu have a digital utput cnfigured fr yur camera, yu can use yur mbile device t trigger it. NOTE: T use this feature, yu must cnfigure digital utputs in the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client sftware. Fr mre infrmatin, see the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide. T trigger a digital utput: 1. Tap a camera frm the Cameras list. The live camera stream is maximized. If there is an available digital utput, is displayed at the bttm f the screen. 2. Tap t display available digital utputs. The digital utputs are displayed in the Activate Digital Output list NOTE: If the digital utput is Unknwn, yu may nt have permissin t trigger it. 3. Tap the digital utput yu want t trigger. Settings Managing Site Cnnectins If yu have access t multiple sites, yu can add, edit r delete site cnnectins as needed t mnitr the alerts and cameras in yur system. 1. In the tp-left crner f the Hme page, tap > Settings. 2. On the Settings page, yu can perfrm any f the fllwing tasks: Add a site T D this... Tip: Yu can access a single site thrugh multiple addresses. Fr example, yu can add a site's externally visible IP address and add the site's internal IP address. This allws yu t cnnect t the site frm a mbile netwrk and frm yur lcal Wi-Fi netwrk. Add the secndary addresses like yu wuld add a new site. The addresses are cmbined under the same site name after they are added. a. Tap Cnnect t Sites. b. On the Edit Addresses page, tap Add Mre Addresses. c. In the IP Address r Hstname field, enter the address t the server in yur site. d. In the Prt Number field, enter the server prt number. The default prt number is 443 r 8443, depending n the platfrm that the ACC Web Endpint is installed n. e. In the tp-right crner, tap Save. a. Tap Sites. Edit a site b. At the bttm f the page, tap Edit Addresses. c. Edit the IP Address r Hstname and Prt Number fields as required. d. In the tp-right crner, tap Save. a. Tap Sites. Delete a site b. At the bttm f the page, tap Edit Addresses. c. Tap the IP Address r Hstname field fr the cnnectin that yu want t delete. d. On the right end f the field, tap the small (x) icn. Changing Display Settings T cntrl the bandwidth used by the app, yu can set the display quality accrding t the type f wireless netwrk yu are cnnected t. By default, bth display quality settings are set t Aut. This setting allws the app t autmatically chse which vide stream t display based n the zm level and display reslutin f the mbile device. Chse Lw t always display vide frm the camera's lw quality stream. Chse High t always display vide frm the camera's high quality stream. T change the display settings, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. In the tp-left crner f the Hme page, tap > Settings. 2. On the Settings screen, select a display quality ptin. Wi-Fi is the setting that is used when yu are cnnected t a lcal Wi-Fi netwrk. Tap t select yur preferred setting. Cellular is the setting used when yu are cnnected t a mbile netwrk. Tap t select yur preferred setting. Changing Display Settings 10
Trubleshting & Supprt Cnnectin Issues The Manage Sites page ntifies yu f cnnectin issues using the fllwing icns: Requires Authenticatin The app has discnnected frm the site. Lg in t recnnect with the site. Tap the site then enter yur lgin credentials t restre the site cnnectin. Cnsult with yur system administratr if yu need t reset yur passwrd. Unavailable The site is unavailable. Check the fllwing t reslve the issue: The mbile device has internet access. Make sure the mbile device is nt ffline r in airplane mde. The prt number is crrect. The default prt number is 443 n the ACC ES Recrder and the ACC ES Analytics Appliance. The default prt number is 8443 n Windws servers. Cnsult with yur system administratr fr the crrect site prt number. The site address is crrect. Cnsult with yur system administratr fr the crrect IP address r hst name t access the site. The site is nline. Restre the site's netwrk cnnectin. Pull-t-refresh the Manage Sites page t see if the site returns nline.
