This permis he reliable recogniion of he smalles of pars or he posiioning of objecs wih maximum precision across he enire area. The sensor is consruced on he basis of he auocollimaion principle, i.e., ligh being ransmied and ligh being received propagae along he same ligh axis. This permis he phooelecric sensor o be insalled direcly behind small holes or diaphragms. The smalles permissible diaphragm diameer for secure funcioning is 3mm.
