2 5 Inventoy Examples The Minecraft inventory menu is very simple. It s also very effective for what it needs to be used for. The design shows only the essetials needed which is why it is so good for what its used for. The Skyrim inventory menu is simple and has a list layout. When an item is hovered over it will have an image with a box on the right show all the other important information and stats on it.

3 5 Inventoy Examples The CS:GO inventory menu is a very basic grid. It has extra detail and this can be found by when the item is hovered over stats and other important information appear. And when left clicked the possible options become available e.g. Equip. The GTA 5 weapon wheel is simply organised. It has the weapon stats in the top right corner of the screen and weapons can be easily changed by using the buttons to move around the wheel.

4 5 Inventoy Examples The Fallout 4 inventory menu is very complex. It has your items in a list on lt left hand side and options for filtering along the top to find items easier. The Stats and information of the item are along the right hand side accross from the list. It is complex because of the unique way that the characters hand moves the wheel as you are using the menu.

5 A to B Task The A to B task we had a partner and had to write 3 obstacles down. Then our partner had to ask 3 questions about each one and write a way of overcoming that obstacle in the game. This helped us as we were forced to think about our game in alot of detail so we could picture the environments better and what we could add or introduce to make it more refined and intresting.

6 10 Minute Drawing Task The ten minute drawing task consisted of us having to pick out two random items then drawing for ten minutes of the items. This made us think fast and be creative with the items we had. This is helpful for drawing the other sheets as I will be quicker at the drawings so will be able to put more detail into them as there will be more time to do it.

7 5 Minute Drawing Task The five minute drawing task consisted of us having to pick out three random items then drawing for five minutes of the items. This made us think fast and be imaginative with the items we had. This is helpful as i can use this when im drawing my asset sheets to come up with even better ideas than before due to this new way of thinking/approaching the task.

8 3 Minute Drawing Task The three minute drawing task consisted of us having to pick out four random items then drawing for three minutes of the items. This made us think fast and be innovative with the items we had. This is helpful as i can get items when I start to do my other drawing sheets to get inspiration for a different asset/menu that I wouldn t have thought of before doint this task.

24 3DS Max Documentation To start with I inset the cylinder and beveled into it to get the shape of the scope lens parts positioning. Then I used the soft selection tool to raise the lens parts to look like a lens. After that I mad the hood for the front lens by moving the different evctors up and down to get th right shape needed. Next I Scaled down the middle of the scope to give the lens parts a larger width.

25 3DS Max Documentation Then I extruded it out ant shaped into a square and making sure i streched it right vectors so that it was orientated in the right way. Next I made a new cylinder and placed the vectors around it to make a more accurate circle than doing it without. After that I extruded out the circles to make the windage and elevation adjustment wheels.

26 Unity Documentation Main Menu First I made the terain background for the main menu using trees, grass, tileable textures of my own and fog aswell as turning down the lighting to make it darker After that I made a title for my game and found a text off the internet that looked like it fitted into the theme. Then I added some buttons that could be used to go to options, start the game and quit. Next I did the same with the options menu adding a back button but instead adding a slider to change the volume of the music and a dropdown to chage graphical shadow quality.

27 Unity Documentation Main Menu Then I wrote a C# script and attached it to the main canvas Finally for the functions of the main menu so that the buttons, sliders and dropdowns did what they were supposed to do I added the functions to them.

28 Unity Documentation Pause Menu Firstly I made a background so that made the screen look like it has been faded out/blured a bit so there is aa clear difference between paused and unpaused. Then I added the title and buttons again to keep the look and theme of the menus consistant. Next I made a panel with the Then I wrote a C# script and same background then added attached it to the GameController that I created to at- the title, sliders, dropdown and buttons again. tach the scripts for this menu to.

29 Unity Documentation Pause Menu Next I wrote another C# script and attached it to the GameController and it allowed the character to start where they had left off last time as it saved the position when it was selected then used those coordinates when the character next spawned. Finally I linked all the the buttons, sliders and dropdowns so that they worked and did what they were supposed to do.

30 Unity Documentation Inventory Menu Firstly I added the background and a panel to the new canvas. Next I added the title and button to keep the theme recurring thoughout the menus. Then I made a frame design in Photoshop and added it to the slots so that they looked better than the default Unity background.
