Five years ago, however, Bon became aware of his fragment of divinity, and took it as a sign of redemption. Now, serving as one of the implements of Bahamut, he channels his wrath for the virtuous will of the gods. He sees his current position in life as a merciful sentence, on which his daily acts are judged. Bon does not know what the future holds for him, nor does he dwell much on it. Perhaps the spark of divinity will lead him to immortality, or perhaps it will tear him apart. MANNERISMS AND APPEARANCE Bon's tough childhood has made him mindful, occasionally overly so, of the demands of the status quo. He approaches many issues from the point of view of protecting law and order, seeing it as part of his penance. Nevertheless, his primary purpose is the will of Bahamut, which he secretly relishes in. He is not vengeful, nor murderous, but since his revelation, he has come to define himself personally as a weapon of the gods, and struggles to develop his own identity.
