The log carries 2 dingoes, a Tasmanian Devil, a wombat in a lifejacket, a kangaroo and joey and a frog with a drink can in his hand. This is illustration is the cover of the book. PL 44 are accompanying overlays - one tracing paper, one Mylar(?). Final artwork Colour pencil 31.2 x 50.8 cm In the foreground a Frilled Neck lizard displays. In the background two dingoes sit on round rocks (Devils Marbles(?). Noted as "4" and "5". PL 45 paper overlay with a tear that has been repaired with adhesive tape that will discolour over time - too difficult to remove. Final artwork Colour pencil 31.5 x 50.8 cm In the foreground are 2 young dingoes In the right hand corner is a bilby while in the background two men boil a billy near some rocks. Final artwork Colour pencil 31.0 x 50.8 cm A wombat in a life jacket balances with his feet on a log and clutching a jetty with his front paws. Noted as "18" and "19". PL 52 tracing paper overlay that has a 6 cm tear at the middle of the bottom edge. It has been repaired with adhesive tape. PL 54 are two accompanying tracing paper overlays. There is also a 3.5 cm diagonal cut on the bottom edge under the kangaroos. Final artwork Colour pencil 31.6 x 50.8 cm A Tasmanian Devil holds onto a rope attached to a corner of a red sail. A leaping kangaroo with a joey holds onto a belt around a swag. Noted as "25". PL 55 Final artwork Colour pencil 31.1 x 50.9 cm In the foreground, a pod of seven dolphins leap into the air with the sailing log and its animals moving at speed across the water. Noted as "28" and "29". PL 56 Adhesive tape has been used to hold down a surface tear on the face of the piece (not removed). There are two small cuts on the edge near this repair. Some adhesive tape and/or glue marks on the back of the piece. There is a large, 26 cm, tear across the accompanying Pamela Lofts Sail Away, page 4 of 5
