1 Inspirational Contemporary Designs and New Product launches at Clerkenwell Design Week May 2017 Wednesday 15 th March, London: There will be an array of new products from leading UK and international brands launching during Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) this year. Set across seven main exhibition spaces, venues include the House of Detention, Fabric, Spa Fields and St James Church. Each venue offers a distinct display, showing a breadth of creativity that makes CDW such an important part of the London design calendar. Design Fields - Spa Fields A festival favourite and situated next to one of Clerkenwell s gems, Exmouth Market, Design Fields will present leading furniture, lighting and product design from around the world as well as exciting home-grown designer-makers. For the first time, this lovely green space will also be home to the first standalone talks space for the three days. 1

Casalis will showcase its new ONDO acoustic panels which are made especially for the contract market and are available in sixteen different colours.

2 With a desire to push boundaries and create bathroom products of exceptional design, German brand Bette will be the first bathroom manufacturer to exhibit at CDW. With roots in handicraft traditions, Scandinavian designers Andreas Engesvik and Jens Fager (part of edsbyn) will display The Gather Armchair at Design Fields. Casalis will showcase its new ONDO acoustic panels which are made especially for the contract market and are available in sixteen different colours. British craft furniture brand Another Country will launch a fully customisable desk system and shelving solution, showcasing thoughtfully designed office furniture for the creative industries. John Lewis Edsbyn Other major exhibitors include John Lewis for Business X Doshi Levien, Dietiker, Ethimo, Tacchini, +HALLE, Swedese amongst many more. Platform, House of Detention Returning to the subterranean House of Detention, Platform will showcase some of the world s most exciting up-and-coming design talent. Set in the atmospheric underground Victorian dungeon just above Clerkenwell Green, Platform creates a striking backdrop for a curated collection of emerging and cutting-edge design. New company 84 Designs have used their traditional carpentry skills to create ergonomic and stylish tables, and will launch their first product the One and a half table at CDW. Specialising in gilded glass and Venetian plaster, MIMAI LAZULITE will present their first range of églomisé box shelves together with gilded framed mirrors. Designed exclusively for CDW, they will also feature two large surface panels, one with gilded glass and one with Venetian plaster. Combining old and new skills, Belgian brand Pinscher will use innovative methods of incorporating natural materials with lightweight aluminium supports in their elegant table designs. Other brands include: Design Bros, Casa Botelho, Levello, MySlouch, Solid Soul Design along with others. 2

Dutch furniture brand Palau prides itself in eco-friendly products such as sofas, armchairs, tables and storage systems. Using high quality, and timeless long-life designs, they will be presenting new designs during CDW. Arpa Industriale will present new developments for FENIX NTM, the nanotech matt material for interior design, with an exhibition of inspirational pieces of furniture design. New to the market, The Meeting Pod Company manufactures and installs a range of pods to meet every modern office s need for private meeting or working space. British Collection, Crypt on Clerkenwell Green Returning for the second year, British Collection will once again be located in the barrel roofed Crypt on Clerkenwell Green, underneath the Church of St James. Focusing on some of Britain s best design, highlights will include contemporary furniture brand MannMade London who will demonstrate the amalgamation of craft and industry within their Battersea collection which includes 13 products, each named from the streets of Battersea. John Green will launch the OTIS range which features a 3

Pluck offers a fresh approach to kitchen design, with clean and accessible aesthetics. Their second showing at CDW will explore texture and tone in their cabinetry collection. John Green MannMade London Additions, St John s Square Dedicated to small design pieces and interior accessories for the home, Additions is newly located on the southern section of St John s Sqaure. A festival hotspot with interior designers and retail buyers, Additions will spotlight Laura Spring s bold, graphic prints. She will be showcasing her recent rug collaboration with Floor_Story alongside some of her best-selling fabrics by the metre and products. Linescapes is a brand specialising in architectural portraits with its founder Amalia capturing the buildings around her in an understated and elegant style. London based homeware brand ONE NINE EIGHT FIVE will present their SS17 collection of cushions, throws and small accessories. Focusing on fabric and texture, the mood and colours of this collection are inspired by fifties interiors as well as David Hockney and Wes Anderson sets. Laura Spring Linescapes Detail, The Order of St John Reflecting the principles of fine craftsmanship and high glamour, this is the venue to head to for high-end decorative interior products. To mark the unveiling of their complete Serafina collection, 4

Exhibitors Cane-Line will showcase their luxury outdoor garden and patio furniture in the magnificent Cloister Garden. Cane-Line Dedar Continuing its long tradition of hosting unique events and exhibitions at Clerkenwell Design Week, Icon Magazine will also once again take over Fabric nightclub, presenting Icon House of Culture sponsored by Bang & Olufsen.
