5 Step-by-Step Assembly 888-MERITEC ( ) 1 a 1 b Lower the short housing, then the remaining long housing onto the board (in that order), in accordance with front and rear of board. Insert boss into RJ6 or J6 position Align 1 (shown below) with J1 or RJ1 Insert the guide pins on bottom of the board. 1 c * When using the short housing as a stand-alone, attach just as you would if using the entire assembly. 2 * When using the partial -long housing as a stand-alone, insert the spacer (shown below) then sit the housing on board as shown in step 1. Secure housings to board with screws, going through housing and board then into guide pins (attached in step one) until snug. * Screw lengths dependent on board thickness and housing configurations, 10, 12, 15 & 16 mm available. * Do not over-tighten screws 3 Insert your wafer stack(s), stiffener and spacers (blue and/or white) according to keying feature. 4 Attach deployment rails according to housing length, arching outward. Screw captive screws until snug. Rails will hold all wafers, the stiffener and the spacers in place during deployment.
