4 Dear Family: Thank you for purchasing a senior ad from the yearbook staff. Please check the list below to ensure that we have everything we need from you. Any missing materials could delay the production of your ad. All orders and materials must be at school by December 15, Materials Needed: Digital images on CD We recommend that you take your precious photos to a reputable photo dealer such as Walmart, Rite Aid or Walgreens and let them help you scan and save your originals to a photo CD. Ad Design Choice see ad packet for design samples Font Choice Name of Student as you want it to appear Color Choice(s) See ad packet for correct number to select Family Message (Includes single message or messages from different family members.) FAQS about pictures: Please DO NOT send the originals. Pictures are not returned to us until the book is shipped. Mayo High School is not responsible for lost or damaged photos. We strongly urge you to make copies so you have the originals at home. We cannot enhance photos. We can resize pictures to fit into the layout space but we cannot enhance the picture. Since the ad space is designed especially for the senior, we try to spotlight the senior and the activity in the picture by zooming in as closely as possible, unless otherwise requested. Ink can transfer from the back of one picture to another. For this reason, please write in pencil on a post it note and attach it to the back of each photo. This prevents any fresh ink from transferring (and damaging) the front of another picture. Save digital images as JPEG files. We can only place JPEG images in our yearbook program. Some files can be re-saved as JPEGs in our system; however, others cannot. We will contact you if we are unable to convert your files into JPEGs. If possible, save all images to one CD and submit with the order form. Make sure your CD is labeled.
5 Return this and all other materials to: Lizabeth Thompson c/o Mayo for MST 405 Chestnut Street Darlington, SC Please contact me during school hours at if you have questions. Use a full page of additional paper as needed. Please do not submit any messages on paper that is smaller than 8 ½ x 11. Thank you.
