10 Helion - Consulting Training improves Performance Helion offers a range of image processing training courses. These intensive courses are available to a limited number of attendees to ensure close communications and interactivity during the programs. Helion supports designer teams in FPGA and DSP based CMOS image sensor setup and image (pre)processing functions. SoC-like image sensors functions like Debayer, Auto Exposure (AE) or Auto White Balancing (AWB) can be implemented by customers or directly by Helion's staff. 10

11 Helion - Imaging IP-Cores RAW Data Enhanced Image Data Sensor Control Image Sensor FPGA Fast Time to Market with IONOS ISP Helion offers a comprehensive selection of image processing pipelines, ranging from basic to advanced HDRpipelines, which can be quickly evaluated on the Lattice HDR-60 camera development kit. Containing more than 150 individual pieces of IP Cores, the library is available for licensing either entirely or in parts. The IONOS-ISP, which is already integrated in the Lattice HDR-60 Camera Development Kit, is a plug-and-play demo pipeline and can be configured via Helion s ICG-GUI Software to set up the ISP parameters. The ISP supports up to 16-megapixel sensors and is easily programmable via standard USB cable. 11

16 Helion - Imaging IP-Cores - Evaluation Lattice HDR-60 Camera Development Kit by IONOS IP-Core evaluation on the Lattice HDR-60 Camera Development Kit The HDR-60 Kit enables rapid evaluation and prototyping of High- Definition (720p60, 1080p60) High Dynamic Range (HDR) video cameras for surveillance, traffic control, video conferencing, medical, machine vision and automotive applications. The Kit consists of two boards: the HDR-60 base board and the Sensor board mounted on top of the base board. The base board is populated with a Lattice ECP3-70, while the sensor board can be used with several image sensors from different vendors like Aptina, NIT, onsemi, Panasonic or Sony. These boards extend the flexible development kit with the Sony CMOS imagers IMX104 (720p), IMX136 (1080p) and IMX236 (1080p). The Vizor interfaces with the Helion IONOS Imaging Pipeline to support a wide range of image sensors and a large set of image processing IP. The GigE Vision IP core is optimized for small footprint and minimal latency. The AimValley Vizor IP is part of the Helion IONOS IP suite. New image sensor generations are using multi channel LVDS. The new Companion Chip bridges the gap between these two generations. This solution accelerates the development of a new camera system, while using the currently well known Image Signal Processors, like Blackfin (Analog Devices), DaVinci(TI) or imx6 (STM).
