FIRE&ICE! Hotel Contacted by the design team for Marriot hotels we jumped at the oppurtunity to place graffiti in one of their hotels. The hotel in question was the Protea Fire&Ice! Hotel in Menlyn, Pretoria. The project was painted over a period of two weeks, 8 lift landings, 4 levels of stairwells from the parking to the main reception, the exterior parking wall as well as the conference room foyer was also painted. Working alongside Kudos Creative to conceptualise a number of graffiti mural works for the new Fire and Ice Hotel in Menlyn. Mars and Mein163 were contacted for the job, 2 active and respected graffiti artists from Johannesburg that have been dedicated to perfecting their craft for a number of years. The end result, several refined interior graffiti murals.

The imagery was to be used in a commercial that was filmed by Map Studios, Original design by Lakwena from London. The project was completed over the course of 3 days. 1/8 Lift landings

6 Silica Markhams flagship store The iconic Markham Building is a building in Johannesburg, South Africa, which when completed in 1897 was the tallest building in the city. Based in the old fashion district of the CDB, Markhams re-opened a new store and we were given a small space to work with. We created a collage mural using design elements influenced bu the areas local slang and architecture, the mural is all free hand spraypaint graffiti. Along with fresh threads the store also houses a barber to make sure are lined up.

7 Wembley Basketball stadium The BNL who holds their national league at the Wembley Stadium in Johannesburg wanted to redo their exterior of the whole stadium with some giant ball players in action. In total there were 8 large scale characters along with their branding spraypainted onto their building. The project was painted over the space of a week by two artists. Assupol Offices Assupol moved into a brand new office space. We were contacted to spray some classic graffiti styled typography on a glass room divider. The words painted are theiur companies internal values. Everything is free hand spraypainted painted over the course of an evening.

8 Argility Argility recently moved into their newly coonstructed offices in Rosebank where we painted some inside jokes and maotivational murals for them. The Right brothers are two brothers who are always right, we painted a plane based on the Wright brothers. A crazy minion was painted as well for the I.T. section, along with other graffiti tagged words around the office. Pictured below is the Right Brothers plane and the Minion having a stressful day. ROCA Assisting Master Screenprinter Jenna Cole in installing several vertical mandala screen prints in the Museo Del Barrio in Manhatten Nyc, for the ROCA show; Urban Martyrs and Latter Day Santos. The image printed comes from a rubbing that the artist ROCA took in the streets of NYC. It was important to use screenprints as the the museum could not have the fumes and dust that comes with spraypainting. The complete mandals where printed with 4 screens per quadrant and 16 screens all together for the full pattern.

9 Seven bell fitness Seven Bell Fitness is a privately owened gym in Brooklyn. Working alongside the talented Jenna Cole, several inspirational quotes were painted around the gym. The pieces serve as motivational mantras for visitiors training at the gym. A mural of Muhamad Ali was also painted in the boxing focus room of the gym. Nedbank Hired to paint an activation during Orientation week at the University of PE. A nedbank initiative to help students with their savings. On the day representitives were present to offer guidance to the students regarding their financail endevours. The mural was painted on a stretched canvas/banner and the produtcion took 1 day.
