2 Difficulty Level: intermediate Material: Yarn: Lace by Borgo de Pazzi, 100% Merino Extrafine, 100 gr +/- 750 m: 300 g. (100 g. for each color: nr ). Crochet Hook: 5.5 mm with 60 cm cable Final size of the shawl, once blocked: Height: about 42 cm Width: about 250 cm Gauge: not necessary. Please be aware that, changing the yarn, also the final size will change. NOTICE: The foundation row is worked on the chains. Please work a forward and back row in order to start working then the fantasy stitch. A complete row is make of a forward and a back row. In the instructions the numbers always indicate complete rows. If not otherwise indicated, please work the back row as follows: Y/O and pull it through 1 loop, *Y/O and pull it through 2 loops* repeat from * to * fill 1 loop remains on the hook. Stitches&Abbreviations: TSS: Tunisian Simple Stitch TPS: Tunisian Purl Stitch Y/O: Yarn Over TDS3tog3: 3 Tunisian Double Stitches worked together purlwise in the 3 stitches of the previous row. 3 INSTRUCTIONS LEFT WING (COLOR 1) Cast on 97 chains and work the foundation row. Row 1(forward): E, TKS, TPS93, TKS2. Row 1 (back): Y/O and pull it through 1 loop, Y/O and pull it through 2 loops, *chain2, Y/O and pull it through 6 loops, chain2, (Y/O and pull it through 2 loops 3 times)* repeat from * to * till 7 stitches from the end of the row, chain2,y/o and pull it through 6 loops, chain 2, (Y/O and pull it through 2 loops 2 times). Row 2 (forward): E, TKS, slip the 2 chains, *Group5, skip the 2 chains, TPS3, skip the 2 chains*, repeat from * to * till 5 stitches from the end of the row, Group5, slip the 2 chains, TKS2. Row 2 (back): normal. Row 3 (forward): E, TKS, TPS93, TKS2. 4 LEFT WING (COLOR 2) Work again all stitches put previously on hold. Row 1: E, TKS, TSS93, TKS2. Row 2: E, TKS, (TDS3tog3) till 2 stitches from the end of the row, TKS2. Row 3: E,TKS, *(TSS, Y/O, TSS) in the 3 stitches of the TDS3tog3 of the previous row *, repeat from * to * till 2 stitches from the end, TKS2. Repeat from Row 1 to Row 3 for 23 more times, repeat Row 1 for 1 time. CENTRAL TRIANGLE (COLOR 3) Row 1: E, TKS, TSS93, TKS2. Row 2 : E, TKS,TPS93, TKS2. Now we have decreased 19 stitches at the right side for the base of the triangle, we will increase them in the first row of the right wing with color 2.
