1 2007 Construction Information/Season Notes Metro I-35 W Bridge On August 1, 2007 the I-35 W Bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed. This had major impacts on traffic patterns in the surrounding area. The 2007 official traffic volumes are based on traffic counts from both 2006 and I-35E and I-694 Unweave the Weave the I-35E and I-694 interchange were under construction for all of 2007 resulting in major traffic impacts in the surrounding area. Hwy 212/312 A portion of Trunk Highway 312 (the new 212) between Trunk Highway 41 in Chaska and Trunk Highway 5 in Eden Prairie opened in late This construction project had major traffic impacts in the surrounding area. Greater Minnesota Houston In 2007 a very limited amount of traffic data was collected due to the flooding in Southeastern Minnesota. Therefore, many of the 2007 official traffic volumes were estimated based on historic information. Houston will be counted again in Waseca A new portion of US Trunk Highway 14 between Janesville and Waseca was completed in late 2006 resulting in major changes to traffic patterns in General All 2007 traffic volume maps have been annotated with construction information if a project lasted more than 6 months and there were major traffic impacts.
