24 CARBIDE GRADES All the tools are always for very different applications. In partnership with our suppliers of raw materials, carbide grades were developed, specific to each application. Therefore AGIR TECHNOLOGIES uses about 60 different carbide grades - From 0.7 to 18µ (grain size) - From 3 to 30% cobalt - With various binds: cobalt, Chrome, Nickel chosen according to the final application.

For several years we have developed more and more complex automatic machines. Which allows us to master the design and realisation of automated motions, and this with a very high precision.

48 THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE NEW SERIES OF MACHINES REAL GRINDING MACHINES FOR PRODUCTION - All our automatic machines, are managed by an OPLC different according to the type of machine, which allows to adjust with high precision all the grinding parameters (advance, reciprocating motion, delay time ). These parameters are kept in the OPLC memory in order to repeat the same positions on the following tools. - Advance motor step by step with micron rule and control by numerical display on the OPLC.
