Ann Kirkpatrick AZ-02 Armed with experience as a prosecutor and elected leader in this state, Ann Kirkpatrick is uniquely qualified to fight for families in Arizona s 2nd district. This district leans Democratic: Sec. Hillary Clinton won by 5 points in 2016, and early polling shows that voters prefer a Democrat to a Republican by 7 points. Bolstered by endorsements from Reps. Gabby Giffords and Ron Barber, Kirkpatrick is poised for victory in Jessica Morse CA-04 Jessica Morse is a fifth generation Northern Californian. An outdoorswoman, Jessica grew up hiking, fishing, and hunting with her family throughout Northern California. Jessica is a national security consultant who worked on behalf of our country at home and abroad, including in Iraq and as an advisor to the Commander of US Pacific Command. At the State Department, Jessica cut waste from the Iraq aid budget and will continue to cut wasteful spending in Washington. She is running to safeguard our community by funding proactive wildfire prevention programs, increasing vocational training, and ensuring access to quality, affordable health care. Katie Hill CA-25 The daughter of a police officer and a registered nurse, Katie Hill is a lifelong resident of the 25th Congressional District. Before running for Congress, Katie served as Executive Director of PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), the largest homeless services organization in California. Under Katie s leadership, in just four years PATH helped more than 7,000 individuals, veterans, and families move off the streets and into permanent housing. Katie attended public schools in the 25th District and holds a BA and Master s from Cal State University Northridge. Katie lives with her husband on a small farm in Agua Dulce.

Katie Porter CA-45 As a consumer protection attorney, Katie Porter has spent decades taking on the big banks that hurt middle-class families -- and winning. In 2012, then California Attorney General Kamala Harris appointed Katie to be California s banking watchdog. The banks had promised to pay billions to homeowners they cheated, and Harris appointed Katie to make sure they followed through. Katie and her team held the banks feet to the fire, securing over $18 billion and helping tens of thousands of families in California move forward with their lives. Katie lives in Irvine with her three children, and is a tenured consumer law professor at University of California Irvine. Jahana Hayes CT National Teacher of the Year Jahana Hayes inspirational life story has been profiled in major publications across the country. Jahana grew up surrounded by poverty, drugs, and violence in a housing project in Waterbury, and became pregnant at 17. While supporting her young family, Jahana enrolled in community college, then earned a four-year degree and two advanced degrees. She became a high school history teacher in the same town where she grew up. In 2016, President Obama honored Jahana as the National Teacher of the Year for her dedication to her students and community. Nancy Soderberg FL-06 Ambassador Nancy Soderberg has worked to resolve conflicts worldwide. She served as an Ambassador to the United Nations and in the White House as Deputy National Security Advisor, where she was instrumental in brokering peace in Northern Ireland. She is President of Soderberg Global Solutions and Director of the Public Service Leadership Program at the University of North Florida. She was previously President of Connect U.S. Fund, Vice President of the International Crisis Group, and served as an advisor to Senator Edward M. Kennedy. She lives in Crescent Beach, Florida and has called Florida home for more than a decade.

Kristen Carlson FL-15 Kristen Carlson is an attorney, an advocate, a mother, and a fighter for hardworking Floridians. Kristen started her law career as a prosecutor in Pasco County and then served as the first female general counsel for the Florida Department of Citrus in Lakeland. A tough negotiator, Kristen fought to protect Florida s citrus growers, manufacturers, and consumers from fraud. Kristen s mother was a frontline Army surgical nurse who served in WWII and her father was a career fighter pilot with the Air Force. She understands the meaning of service and she has spent her career serving the people of Florida. Lauren Baer FL-18 Lauren Baer brings more than a decade of national security and legal expertise to her run for Congress in Florida s 18th Congressional District, where she was raised and her family's roots run deep. Lauren served as an official in the Obama Administration from , acting as a senior advisor to two Secretaries of State and to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Prior to her State Department service, she was a litigator at WilmerHale LLP, where she focused on transnational disputes and federal appeals. Since she launched her campaign, Lauren has racked up strong local and national endorsements and turned heads with her impressive fundraising out of the gate. Mary Barzee Flores FL-25 Mary Barzee Flores was born and raised in Miami. Her parents served in the military and her own career in public service began as a federal Public Defender in Miami prior to being elected to serve as a Florida Circuit Court Judge. In 2015, President Barack Obama nominated Mary for a seat on the U.S. District Court -- but Senator Marco Rubio blocked her nomination and she was never given a hearing. Mary s record of service and commitment to her community is the reason she is running for Congress and she will fight for South Florida in Washington.

Debbie Mucarsel-Powell FL-26 Debbie Mucarsel-Powell immigrated to the United States with her family as a young girl, working her first job at age 15 to help her family make ends meet and pay her way through college. Mucarsel-Powell has dedicated more than twenty years to improving access to healthcare, protecting the environment, and increasing educational opportunities in South Florida. Mucarsel-Powell is running for Congress because the opportunities this country offered enabled her family to achieve the American Dream and those same opportunities are disappearing for too many families. Florida's 26th district is one of the top swing districts in the country and Mucarsel-Powell has built a grassroots campaign that can turn this seat blue. Lucy McBath GA-06 Lucy McBath is a mother, wife, and businesswoman who became an advocate for social justice following the fatal shooting of her son, Jordan Davis. After a 30-year career with Delta Airlines, Lucy s second career has been focused on fighting for safer communities and reducing gun violence. Lucy is a two-time breast cancer survivor who recognizes that access to quality insurance and health care made the difference in battles against cancer. Now, she is fighting to ensure everyone has access to affordable care. Congress needs more people like Lucy McBath willing to step up and fight for her neighbors. Carolyn Bourdeaux GA-07 Carolyn Bourdeaux has dedicated her life to public service. During the Great Recession, she served as Director of Georgia s Senate Budget and Evaluation Office, developing bipartisan solutions to the state s budget crisis. She was the founding Director of Georgia State s Center for State and Local Finance. She is now a professor of public policy with the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. In Congress, she will fight for affordable health care, a world-class public education system, and a government that is accountable to the people.

Abby Finkenauer IA-01 Abby, a first-generation college graduate and Iowa State Representative, launched her campaign in April and is a proven advocate for working families. This is a historically Democratic district -- President Obama won twice -- that represents a top takeover opportunity for Democrats. An NBC News profile designated Abby as the candidate with what it takes to win. Cindy Axne IA-03 Democratic candidate Cindy Axne is a 5th-generation Iowan, small business owner, mother, and first-time candidate running in this district. She grew up in Des Moines and worked for nearly a decade in state government to hold it accountable and successfully advocated for all-day kindergarten for every child in West Des Moines. In Congress, she will work to get results for Iowa families and advocate for better jobs, higher wages and access to affordable health care. Betsy Dirksen Londrigan IL-13 Betsy Dirksen Londrigan s roots in Central Illinois go back generations, to when her great-grandparents moved there searching for a better life. A mother, self-employed entrepreneur, and non-profit leader, Londrigan stepped up to run for Congress when she saw Republican incumbent Rep. Rodney Davis and Washington Republicans vote to take health care away from families like hers and raise the cost of their health care. After watching her son fight a life-threatening illness, Londrigan appreciates the importance of access to quality, affordable health care. Londrigan understands the needs of working families and will always put them ahead of Washington special interests.

Lauren Underwood IL-14 Lauren Underwood brings a critical perspective to this race as a registered nurse, with hands-on health care experience. She is the first woman to receive the Democratic nomination in her district. Lauren began her career helping to implement the ACA, and President Obama appointed Lauren to serve as a Senior Advisor at the Department of Health and Human Services. There, she helped communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters, bioterror threats, and public health emergencies. During a swimming lesson when she was 8 years old, Lauren discovered that she had a heart condition. The doctors and nurses who helped her through her initial treatment inspired her career in nursing. Recently, Lauren worked with a Medicaid plan in Chicago to ensure it provided high-quality, cost-efficient care. Lauren is training future nurse practitioners through Georgetown University s online master s program. Liz Watson IN-09 Liz Watson is a fifth-generation Hoosier, working mom and workers rights attorney. She s spent a lifetime fighting for working families to get ahead. Liz fought to ensure working people earn a fair day s pay for a fair day s work, helped people juggle work and family life, and safeguarded the freedom of working people to come together to negotiate for their fair share. She was the Labor Policy Director for the Democrats in the U.S. Congress, and she s represented people treated unfairly at work. She s fed up with her representative putting special interests ahead of Hoosiers. She will work for health care for everyone, good jobs, and great public schools. Sharice Davids KS-03 Sharice Davids was raised by her mom, a single parent who spent more than 20 years in the Army. Since graduating from Johnson County Community College, Sharice earned her law degree from Cornell Law School and focused her career on bringing equity and opportunity to underserved communities. She has lived and worked on Native American reservations, helping tribes to create economic development opportunities, programs, and initiatives. Sharice is a Native American and member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, and regularly speaks at conferences as a nationally recognized expert on economic and community development in Native communities.

Amy McGrath KY-06 Amy McGrath s inspirational story has excited voters and made her one of the fiercest challengers in the country. Her campaign is rooted in her strong commitment to public service. She answered the call to serve in the Marine Corps, becoming the first female Marine to fly a combat mission in an F-18 Hornet and carrying out missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. Seeing a government that doesn t work for the people of Kentucky, Amy is again answering the call to serve to move the economy forward for regular people in central Kentucky and stand up to anyone who tries to attack affordable health care. Gretchen Driskell MI-07 Coming from a family of Navy veterans, Gretchen Driskell grew up learning that we have an obligation to give back. Her journey to help her community started as a young mother in Saline, where she saw a need for a recreation center for families and helped build the Saline Recreation Complex. Gretchen s passion for her community never wavered. She went on to be elected to City Council and became the first female and longest-serving Mayor of Saline. In 2012 she defeated an incumbent to be elected to the state legislature. Gretchen is the proud mother of Ryan, Matthew, a U.S. Navy Ensign, and Marielle, and grandmother of Chloe. Elissa Slotkin MI-08 Elissa Slotkin is a third-generation Michigander and has spent her career in national service. She served with the Central Intelligence Agency -- including three tours in Iraq -- and worked directly for President Bush and President Obama on the White House National Security Council. Her entry into this race is a game-changer, and there s a clear path to victory: Democratic Sens. Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow routinely win Michigan s 8th.

Haley Stevens MI-11 Haley Stevens was born and raised in Oakland County, Michigan. She is the daughter of a small-business owner and a public school teacher. Haley has dedicated her career to public service and ensuring that good-paying jobs are available to the people of Michigan. Haley served as a policy advisor in the Economic Development Administration and as Chief of Staff for the U.S. Treasury Department s Auto Task Force -- the team responsible for helping return the auto industry to financial stability and saving over 200,000 Michigan jobs. Angie Craig MN-02 Raised by a single mother in a mobile home park, Angie Craig worked two jobs to pay her way through college. She went on to lead a workforce of over 16,000 at a major Minnesota manufacturer. Angie Craig nearly won in 2016 in one of the most expensive races in the country. She is primed to win in Kathleen Williams MT-AL Kathleen Williams won a tough primary and has emerged as an even tougher opponent for her Republican opponent, Congressman Greg Gianforte. When she was young, Kathleen s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer s, so Kathleen and her father had to become her caretakers. Two years ago, tragedy struck again, with the untimely and sudden passing of her husband. These major life events gave Kathleen an understanding of what healthcare crises mean for families. As a state representative, she fought to require insurance companies to cover lifesaving cancer treatments, and she ll continue to fight for middle class families health care in Congress.

Linda Coleman NC-02 Linda Coleman grew up in a close-knit community, where she learned the value of hard work by spending her summers working on a tobacco farm. Linda started her career as a classroom teacher, before running for public office. Linda served as chair of the Wake County Commissioners and was elected to serve three terms as a Democratic representative in the North Carolina General Assembly, where she fought to increase funding for schools and the minimum wage. She s never forgotten where she came from and will fight for working families in Washington. Kathy Manning NC-13 A business person, mother, community leader, and attorney, Kathy Manning has spent the last 25 years bringing people together in Greensboro, North Carolina to solve problems and create economic opportunity. A product of the American dream, Kathy s greatgrandparents fled religious persecution overseas and worked to provide their children with a better future. Kathy now strives to pay it forward. As the first woman to lead one of the largest charitable organizations in the world, Kathy brought people together to improve education and provide relief to people who lost their jobs during the economic downturn, including job retraining and mortgage assistance. Kara Eastman NE-02 Democratic candidate Kara Eastman is a social worker and longtime community leader in Omaha. Kara started Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance (OHKA) and grew it from a small start-up focused on lead poisoning prevention into a nationally recognized, award-winning nonprofit that has raised more than $13 million to support green, safe, and healthy housing in Omaha. OHKA has directly served over 4,000 Nebraska families over the last decade. Through partnerships with small businesses and contractors, Kara created dozens of jobs within the organization and in city government. Kara believes in serving others, and it s why she is running for Congress.

Mikie Sherrill NJ-11 Mikie Sherrill is a Naval Academy graduate, pilot and former federal prosecutor. As a Sea King Helicopter pilot, Sherrill flew missions throughout Europe and the Middle East. She worked on the Battle Watch Floor in the European Theater during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as a flag aide to the deputy commander of the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. Sherrill later joined the U.S. Attorney s office, where she took on violent and white-collar criminals and developed programs to help prevent crime in the community. The Cook Political Report rates New Jersey's 11th district -- which Hillary Clinton lost by only 1 point in as a Toss-Up in Xochitl Torres Small NM-02 Xochitl Torres Small, a water attorney and former staffer for Senator Tom Udall, is a first-time candidate running for the open seat vacated by Rep. Steve Pearce. As a child growing up in Las Cruces, NM, Torres Small heard stories about her grandmother, who immigrated from Mexico and worked in the fields to build her American dream. While her family never had a lot of money, she learned that through hard work and a good education she could not only succeed, but also give back to the community that made her success possible. Torres Small would bring a wealth of experience to Congress, having worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and clerked for a New Mexico federal judge with one of the heaviest criminal dockets in the country. She s quickly stacking up local endorsements and putting together a strong campaign to take back this open seat in Susie Lee NV-03 Susie, a Las Vegas education advocate and nonprofit leader, has earned endorsements from Nevada s entire Democratic Congressional delegation and Sen. Harry Reid -- all while building an impressive campaign and outraising all of her Republican challengers combined. President Obama won this district twice, and after President Trump s 1- point victory in 2016, Susie is a candidate with the ability to win in 2018.

Dana Balter NY-24 Democratic candidate Dana Balter is a lifelong educator. Inspired by her brother who has developmental disabilities, Dana worked as a teacher at a nonprofit organization that provides support services to adults with cognitive disabilities -- then she served as Director of Education. Working with parents of children and adults with disabilities across the country who were desperate to find the services their children needed led Dana to study public policy and pursue her most recent work, teaching citizenship, policy, administration, and democracy at Syracuse University s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Dana has spent her life standing up for the underdog and is ready to do the same in Congress. Betsy Rader OH-14 Democratic nominee Betsy Rader was raised by a single mother who struggled to make ends meet while raising four kids. Betsy attended The Ohio State University and Yale Law School. At a young age, she decided she wanted to empower people and give them a voice. Throughout her career, she has run a child advocacy program for abused children, helped create jobs as an executive for local small businesses, and practiced as Senior Counsel of the Cleveland Clinic. Now she has her own employment law firm where she represents those who have faced discrimination and sexual harassment. Betsy has spent her entire life being an advocate for her community. Chrissy Houlahan PA-06 Chrissy Houlahan is a former teacher, former U.S. Air Force Captain, and a successful businesswoman who helped to create hundreds of jobs in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Her bipartisan appeal will help her win over Democrats and Republicans alike in this suburban swing district -- a district that Hillary Clinton, Gov. Tom Wolf, and Sen. Bob Casey all won. Both Republicans and Democrats acknowledge that she s a top recruit.

Susan Wild PA-07 Growing up in a military family, Susan moved frequently throughout her childhood, but the Lehigh Valley, where she moved more than three decades ago, is where she calls home. She is a well-respected lawyer specializing in health care, civil rights, and employment law. In 2015, the Allentown City Council unanimously appointed her to serve as the Solicitor of the City of Allentown, the first woman to do so. She is a mother of two, and has been a community leader and activist for over three decades. Susan proved her strength as a candidate by winning a tough primary against two other well-funded Democrats with over a third of the vote. Lizzie Fletcher TX-07 Lizzie Fletcher is a lifelong Houstonian who has worked across her community - representing people from all walks of life -- helping them solve complex problems. Her record of results for Houston includes becoming her law firm s first female partner, co-founding Planned Parenthood Young Leaders to recruit a new generation of leaders, and volunteering her legal services to help Texas Appleseed with critical research in their work to dismantle the School-to-Prison Pipeline. Now Lizzie is running for Congress in TX-07, a district that voted for Secretary Clinton after swinging more than 22-points towards Democrats in Gina Ortiz Jones TX-23 Gina Ortiz Jones is an Iraq War veteran who went to college on an ROTC scholarship and served as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer under "Don t Ask, Don t Tell." After her career in the Air Force, she advised on intelligence operations in Latin America and Africa, before advising on economic and national security issues in the Executive Office of the President. Gina is running for Congress in the district she grew up in and a district that Hillary Clinton won in Her national security experience and commitment to middle-class families is why she is the candidate to flip this district in 2018.

MJ Hegar TX-31 MJ Hegar is a decorated Air Force and Air National Guard helicopter pilot who served three tours in Afghanistan. After she was shot down flying a search and rescue medevac mission, she rescued her crew and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor. In 2012, she sued the Department of Defense over its nowrepealed policy excluding women from ground combat operations. As a veteran wounded in battle, MJ knows that our health care system is broken. She will fight to improve the affordability and quality of care for veterans, seniors, and families. She is a lifelong resident of her congressional district. Elaine Luria VA-02 Elaine Luria is a small business owner and retired Navy commander running for Congress in Virginia s 2nd District. Elaine was deployed six times to the Middle East and Western Pacific as a nuclear-trained Surface Warfare Officer and culminated her 20-year Navy career by commanding a combat-ready unit of 400 sailors. Elaine was one of the first women in the Navy s nuclear power program and among the first women to serve the entirety of her career on combatant ships. Elaine then transformed an idea into reality when creating her thriving retail and art business, Mermaid Factory, which now has two locations. Elaine graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and received a Master s in Engineering Management from ODU, and lives in Norfolk with her husband and daughter. Abigail Spanberger VA-07 Raised in Henrico County, Abigail has always served her country and community. A former CIA operations officer, Abigail worked overseas collecting intelligence and overseeing high-profile programs. Abigail is the mother to three daughters and made the final decision to run for Congress when she saw her Congressman vote to repeal health care without considering the negative impact the bill would have on Virginia families like hers. Her compelling profile and competitive campaign are essential to putting this rapidly-changing district in play.

Jennifer Wexton VA-10 State Senator and Democratic candidate Jennifer Wexton is an accomplished leader and public servant who has served her community as a county prosecutor and court appointed attorney for abused and neglected children. She has been a leader in the bipartisan fight to expand Medicaid to nearly 400,000 Virginia families, painting a stark contrast with her opponent s numerous votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Jennifer s commanding performance in the Democratic primary against a crowded, well-funded Democratic field demonstrates her strength and momentum heading into the general election. Carolyn Long WA-03 Carolyn Long grew up in a rural community on the Pacific Northwest coastline. Carolyn s mother worked as a waitress while her father managed their small family business, John s Fresh Produce, where Carolyn and her siblings worked to help out the family. Carolyn worked at Safeway and, as a proud journeyman with UFCW Local 555, she earned enough to pay her way through college at the University of Oregon. Carolyn later attended graduate school at Rutgers University and for the last 23 years has taught at Washington State University- Vancouver, where she is a tenured professor. Lisa Brown WA-05 Lisa Brown is an educator and public servant who has been one of the most prominent progressive voices in Washington State for over two decades. In the state legislature, Lisa spearheaded health care and education initiatives, fought to pass same-sex marriage, and earned plaudits for her bipartisan efforts to diversify and strengthen Eastern Washington s economy. Lisa s aggressive, well-funded campaign against Republican incumbent Cathy McMorris Rodgers and her fight for the rights of rural and working people has garnered statewide and national attention.

Kim Schrier WA-08 Dr. Kim Schrier has spent her career as a pediatrician helping thousands of families across the 8th District. Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a teenager, Kim understands what it means to worry about health insurance and the rising costs of health care. As a doctor, Kim s voice is a vital one sorely missing from conversations on women s health care and reproductive rights. Kim is the product of public education, from elementary through medical school, including a degree in astrophysics from UC Berkeley. She lives in Issaquah with her husband and 9-year-old son.
