1 Chairman: Dr Justin CHENG MBA Class of 2015 MBS MBA, Graduated with Merit, 2015 MBBS, University of Hong Kong, 1999 Student Ambassador, MBS Chairman of MBSAA, If I am re-elected as the 2016/17 board member of the MBSAA, I shall continue to build and strengthen our AA by working both internally and externally with different stakeholders. Internally, I will work closely with the East Asia Centre to review what we have achieved and learned this year, and fine tune the overall AA annual plan. The overall objective is to build value within the AA and benefits its alumni and student members. I am more than happy to continue to act as one of the ambassador for the AA and communicate the additional value of being a member of the AA. I would like to lead a new initiative to assist our student members to source final project topics from our alumni network. Externally, I have already developed a strong network of different universities AA and will continue to lead joint projects to create opportunities for our members to network with members of other universities. Specifically, we have a number of student and alumni members working in new start-up companies. I would like to develop a business referral network to assist our entrepreneurial members. As mentioned in July 2015 personal statement, I have founded a monthly public speaking platform (MBS Alumni Toastmasters Club) which has benefited more than a hundred members by equipping them with the TMC standard of presentation skills and empowering them to lead workshops and contests. I shall continue to take a leadership role, to grow the TMC number of members and as a key platform for alumni and students to bring their guest to experience our organisational and professional speaking skills. 1 P a g e

Ms. Yu was trained in PWC and followed by various finance leadership roles in major MNCs during her career progression. Her role includes Asia Pacific Regional Controller and Head of Treasury APAC of British Telecom Global Services, BT Group plc; Associate Director, Compliance and Process Improvement, Asia Pacific, Merck & Co., Inc.. She is currently the Vice President, Controllership, APAC of Herbalife, leading the Finance and Accounting, Tax, Internal Control and Treasury activities. Ms. Yu is an active speaker and panelist in various professional seminars and events. These events include but not limited to Finance Transformation and CFO Summit 2015, ACCA CFO Summit Hong Kong 2014, 2nd Anti-Corruption Compliance Asia Pacific Summit 2014 Hong Kong, she was also interviewed by AB Magazine to share about experiences, insights and opinions on women in leadership positions, CFO Innovation on cash flow management, HSBC s Guide to Cash, Supply Chain and Treasury on working capital management. Ms. Yu is a member of CFO Club, a mentor of mentorship program of ACCA, a think tank member of DaShun Foundation. In 2015/16, during her tenure as Hon Treasurer serving the Alumni Board, she actively participated in the MBS and MBSAA activities. She also successfully organized the Toast Master Demo Meeting and the Hong Kong Science Technology Park visit. Ms. Yu is dedicated to serve the MBSAA China. She is committed to contribute and support the association on MBS brand enhancement, organization of social networking activities, career development of students and alumni, collaboration between different alumni associations of Manchester University and contribution to the society. 2 P a g e

Hon. Treasurer: TSOI Jacky MBA Class of 2010 MBS MBA, 2010 I am honored to have the opportunity to stand for election to the MBSAA China. AMBS will soon be entering a new era of academic leadership, and it will be as important as ever for the faculty to play a strong role in guiding the direction of the university. As a member of the MBSAA Committee, I wish I could have the opportunity to become directly involved with the administrative teams that are working to ensure that the Alumni Association have formed a close partnership to jointly continue to strengthen the bonding among MBA/MBA Alumni, faculty and students, and increase their sense of belonging to the School through interesting events, International networking with support and access to privileged resources, thus as to form a network of support and information sharing on career, business opportunities and personal development and Continuous Learning through workshops and seminar, and enlighten the community with warm and caring Hearts. 4 Board Member: CHUNG Carrie MBA Class of 2010 MBS MBA, 2010 Juris Doctor, 2014 Professional Qualification: HKICPA & ACCA Have been working in the accounting & finance fields Current working as senior financial analyst Extra-curricular activities / voluntary work: fitness training, tennis, tai chi, painting/ being mentor of 2 voluntary programs for coaching less privileged young people in HK As a graduate in MBS, I hope that my participation in the Alumni could help to: create a bridge between the school, fellow members and students maintain the network foster friendship ensure the continuity of learning With accounting & law background, I wish to provide my professional expertise in supporting MBSAA China for future growth, especially in its reputation. Board Member: FONG Elaine MBA Class of 2016 MBS MBA, 2016 Have been working in financial PR field, licensed person for stock market trading Currently is a partner/general manager of a PR firm which mainly provides PR and IR consultant services to listed co. of HKEx With an aim to foster friendship and networking opportunity among alumni and graduates, I will assist the committee in organizing activities that would be welcomed by its members. With a plentiful network in both PRC and Hong Kong, I envision that my participation in the Alumni could build up a communication platform between the school, fellow members and students, therefore to promote and develop the status of the MBSAA China. The Alumni Association is indispensable because it provides continual intellectual development for its members. Board Member: LI Christian BSc Class of 2013 BSc (Hons) Management (International Studies), University of Manchester, 2013 MSc (Hons) Management and Information Systems and Innovation, London School of Economics & Political Science, 2014 It will be my honour and pleasure if I could join the board of the Manchester Business School Alumni Association in Hong Kong, I had three wonderful and rewarding years studying in MBS. Not only I had the chance to acquire the necessary knowledge and information to equip me for my career path, but also met many fellow students and friends some of whom have inspired me to develop my interests and goals professionally. In joining the Executive Committee, I hope to assist in expanding the membership of The MBA Alumni Association by further develop the network of fellow alumni in Hong Kong especially to the fresh graduates. More professional talks by the Alumni of different professions can be organized targeting the fresh graduates. These talks will help to enlighten them on their career paths, information and opportunities on the job market and on personal developments. Furthermore, career advices for job opportunity in Hong Kong can be given to the MBS final year students, through MBS or MBS Alumni Association website. It is also my interest to promote MBS to the potential students locally by helping and providing information at Tertiary Education Exhibitions and Overseas Education seminars. Meeting with the freshmen before they embark on their university life is vital in providing information on 5 P a g e

6 their course, MBS and generally on campus life as a whole. The last but not least, I believe personally I could benefit by expanding my professional network as a potential CPA and share my experiences. I am looking forward to the great time of working and promoting the MBS Alumni Association with fellow alumni and also consolidating the bond between our association and other university alumni associations. Board Member: MOK Cora MBA Class of 2011 MBS MBA, 2011 Professional Qualification: Fellow, Life Management Institute, USA Had worked in a leading global tyre manufacturer and a leading US talent management consulting firm respectively Currently working as business manager in the largest insurer of Hong Kong Extra-curricular activities / voluntary work: Founding member of MBS Alumni Toast Masters Club With an aim to foster friendship and networking opportunity among alumni members and graduates, I will assist the committee in organizing activities that would be welcomed by its members. With my rich commercial and event organizing background, I envision that my participation in the Alumni could build up a communication platform between the school, fellow members and students from different industries. As a professional society, the Alumni Association is also important to provide continual intellectual development for its members. To this end, I wish to act as a facilitator to establish learning opportunities for members and students. 7 Board Member: UHRIN Matej BSc Class of 2014 Graduated Bachelor of Science (Hons) Management, 2014 Honorary Secretary for MBSAA, 2015/2016 Worked for Telefonica O2, Capstone Financial Currently working as Associate Relationship Manager at MetLife Performed successful fundraising efforts for children in Uganda, raising 1,000+ in 3 days Served as caretaker at summer camp organised for handicapped children Operated as the president of Czechoslovak Society with over 150 Members at The University of Manchester in 2013/2014 With an aim to foster friendship and networking opportunities among members and graduates, I will assist the committee in organizing activities that would be welcomed by its members. As a recent undergraduate I would like to introduce values of the association to graduates of undergraduate programmes, as I believe that diversity in the association will ensure continuity of learning among members. My objectives of contribution are as follows: to promote the status of the MBSAA China; to assist in the development of the MBSAA China; to support the operation of MBSAA China; to serve as a communication channel among the members of the Association As a professional society, the Alumni Association has an important role in providing continual intellectual development for its members. To this end, I wish to act as a facilitator to establish learning opportunities for members and students.
