3 Programs Programs TheatreZone Description We present four shows in our Broadway series, our original Home for the Holidays show, a biannual production with student actors and musicians at FGCU's Bower School of Music and The Arts, international concert acts, an afternoon concert series, and an annual fundraiser with a onetime-only show. We engaged Moorings Park and FineMark National Bank & Trust to launch a monthly cabaret series at Moorings Park for those residents and the general public. Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes is donating his time to serve as Special Guest Star of our AllStars of TheatreZone fundraiser in January We have increased the number of donors and corporate sponsors supporting our performing arts programming. 4 Impact Goals What are your organization's long-term strategic goals? TheatreZone is dedicated to enriching the cultural offerings in Southwest Florida by presenting professional theatrical productions and educating students of all ages to appreciate and engage in the performing arts. We believe in the transformative power of the musical theatre experience and the connection between audience members and what is happening onstage. Multiple studies have proven the positive impact on the brain from listening to music. Strategies What are the major strategies you will do to accomplish your goals? Marketing, advertising, word of mouth, community engagement and outreach Capabilities What are your organization s capabilities for doing this? The Founding Artistic Director and Associate Director/Resident Choreographer are veterans of Broadway, off- Broadway and national tours. As an Equity theatre, our casts are almost entirely professional career actors. Our shows include live orchestras. Our Director of Operations/Contributors' Concierge has been with us since our inception 14 years ago. Our Production Staff are all professionals in the performing arts industry. We also appreciate the support of the Community School of Naples, where we are in-residence. Indicators What indicators do you use to measure progress? We track the number of tickets sold, new and renewing subscribers, geographic distribution of ticketbuyers, new and renewing donors and sponsors, and comments provided by our guests. In the past few seasons, because we sell out, we have added matinee performances or additional weeknight dates as needed. Progress What have and haven t you accomplished so far? We are very proud of our sold-out seasons and consider that success a wonderful barometer of our success. 4

7 Management Executive Director/CEO Executive Director Term Start Jan TheatreZone Danni Experience Mark Danni (Founding Artistic Director) is one of the most well rounded people in the entertainment business. His directing, music directing and drumming skills make him a sought after commodity in the theatre world. After starting his New York City career as a drummer on Broadway for shows such as Chicago, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Nunsense, he quickly moved into the conductor s chair and conducted the national tours of Les Miserables. During his 14 years in New York, he also toured with the shows The Phantom Of The Opera, 42nd Street, the 25th anniversary tour of Fame as the drummer/percussionist. Regionally, he was the conductor of Falsettoland. Quickly becoming a favorite in D.C., he was then asked to play drums for Al Gore s Inaugural Gala in 1993, Becoming a director was inevitable for someone as creative as Mark. While conducting the tour of Aggravation, and the musical workshop of After leaving New York, Mark continued directing in Southwest Florida and became the Founding Artistic Director of TheatreZone, Inc., a professional Equity theatre company in Naples, Florida, were he has directed such celebrities as Gary Sandy ((Too Close For Comfort), Donna McKechnie (The Mary Tyler Moore Show), Eddie Mekka (Married With Children) and Andrea McArdle (Broadway s original Sandy Duncan: celebrates Broadway, and has also played with Lucie Arnaz, Rich Little, Dennis DeYoung (Styx), The Crystals, The Duprees, The Four Lads, The NY Tenors and many more.
